Nice hotel, horrible service”
The hotel is beautiful, it is definitely pricey but the hotel looks very nice. However, the staff specifically at the front desk were extremely rude. Raising their voice at me and shaking their heads condescendingly simply because I politely asked them to repeat themselves because I couldn't hear them through their face maks and the protective plastic. If I asked them questios they were abrupt and uninterested. It was really interesting because before that my customer experience in every other hotel had been amazing. My parents checked into another room and they also did not have a pleasant experience at the front desk. Moreover they did not have any toilet paper in their room so they called and asked for more and the workers told them later because it was raining. It was raining hard so they waited but they were still waiting about two hours after the rain was gone while needing to use the restroom. I wouldn't stay here again, the facilities aren't nice enough for me to put up with bad customer service.

Decent Hotel”
I checked in for anniversary, our room was “upgraded” from king bed (as per online reservation) to 2 queen beds (fail) also when we got to our room the AC did not work (stuck in one high fan speed) and it was chilly the whole night. The shower drain was clogged and when taking a shower it was filled up half way. Very disappointed on the room we had. The overall property was decent for the price we paid. I give it a 2.5 rating based on the issues we had.

Thought this was going to be a relaxing prebaby retreat ”
Upon arriving we were not told where our room was so we had to go searching. Don’t use the phone in the room to call front desk (THEY WILL NEVER ANSWER) I stayed for 5 days. And each time I had to call on my cell through registration to get help. Not once did house keeping come to change sheets, restock towels, take out garbage, etc. Our fridge didn’t work so we called to have that replaced. Our tv remote ran out of batteries. Never got that replaced until the last day. So I had to change the television by hand. My 5 year old dropped a food jar and I called (of course from my phone) and told the front desk I needed house keeping, and it was an emergency because I do have a two year old. I timed them but after 20 mins I gave up (because glass was everywhere. I eventually left my room with the kids in search of a cleaning cart and cleaned the mess up myself. It took them almost an hour to get to my room. Mind you I’m due July 2020. Why would I have to do it if I’m paying you.

First time in Key West”
Definitely not a 4 star place. No hairdryer, no bathrobes, no waters in room. No hot tub. Our fridge was broken so we had a ton of food that spoiled. Even called and they didn’t fix it. With that being said the location was great, it was a good value, good priced happy hour drinks at the bars.

The front desk closes at night and there is no one who can help you anywhere in the hotel, additionally the door to the room did not close properly.

Choose elsewhere”
Choose elsewhere we stayed in this resort over spring break. Just please say no and do yourself a favor. There is no one working the front desk after early afternoon. You have to actually contact the 24 hotel location and ask for their front staff for assistance if anyone is even working. Upon check-in we booked a room stating that there would be four individuals and when we got to the room there was only one bed made with sheets and blankets and pillows. I called the reservation desk for two hours and finally got somebody who was not working in the resort but was helping with new reservations and she contacted her manager she contacted the night supervisor And nobody was working any dust or answering any phone calls for her. She was very apologetic and could not understand why no one was working at the resort to help us. She actually asked if we would walk to a neighboring a hotel and asked to borrow a set. I told her I wasn’t comfortable with that so she made phone calls Got a set borrowed. We spoke with the bartenders who were the only one in the resort and they said that apparently somebody had quit a few days ago and they had not replace the positions so the resort was just left completely unattended with any issues. The older part of this resort looks nice in photos but you can tell it is a very old building. The pool was OK it was clean you had a nice little cabanas but nobody comes around and serves you drinks offers you food or anything. If you want anything you have to get up and find the restaurants or the bars. This is on the complete opposite end of the island from Duval Street and it is not walking distance. Most of the rooms do not have a water view. You are not close to any beach it’s on the opposite side of the island and you will need a golf cart or some sort of vehicle to get you back-and-forth. It is not close to anything. You will have to pay to park anytime you go downtown. If you want to rent bicycles they are expensive and are not included.

I did not received the rooms requested (2 queens), Guy has completely denied the 2 queens 3 rooms. also received the room which was dirty and not ready. Had to go back and changed it. when i went back lady gave me 2 queens 1 room right away . that means you guys had them and still denied it. Will never book the gates again.
