Great staff and Worth every cent of what you pay for!”
Booked this hidden Gem for a family vacation, upon check-in, we were greeted by their staff and was shown great hospitality! The rooms were so clean, ammenities were beyond great and the whole experinece was way pass my expectations! Major tourist attractions were esither a few minutes walk away or a few minutes through TukTuk or Grab! Will definitely come back to bangkok and book a room again!

Perfect hotel”
My husband and I are travelling with our three teenage children. We stayed at the grand Southorn and it was absolutely excellent. It was clean staff were friendly pool was beautiful and the location was immersed in the Bangkok culture as we made our way to the busyness of markets and shopping. We would definitely go back to this hotel as we enjoyed every aspect of it

Big room in very good location”
The room is very big and clean. The view from rooftop pool is amazing. The staffs are kind and helpful. The hotel is near BTS sky train and pier by walking distance. You can go to Iconsiam and Asiatique by free shuttle boat. Besides, there are local market nearby. You can find street food around hotel or go shopping at Robinson just by 5 mins walking.

Friendly staff, clean and well located”
We found the rooms spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast range was excellent. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the pier and BTS station, so handy to get around, and is close to the Robinson department store. The roof top bar and pool a nice place to relax in the evening. I would definitely recommend this hotel

I actually booked the room for my parents. They loved it. The price is incredibly cheap n the location is perfect for them. Outside looks dated n a bit run down but it's clean n large room. Staff were very polite, friendly n helpful. Less than 300m walk to local Robinson Department store n plentiful of local street food to choose from. Highly recommended if you like large room n conveniently located.

Nice and cozy with quiet surrondings”
Even with circumstances in the world at the moment and no breakfastbuffet, the staff cooked up a nice breakfast on order for us. The rooms are big and clean. The pool is nice to hang out in, in the afternoon and watching sunset over Bangkoks sky and buildings. Its our 5th stay here and we are always coming here when we are travelling in or out from Bangkok.

Clean, cozy and central.”
We stayed two times in the Grand Sathorn, one time at the beginning of our trip and one time in the end. Both stays were pleasant. The service was nice and the rooms are clean. We got an upgride at the second stay, but unfortunately there was some neighbors at the room next door, who were really loud in the night. But we think, that was not a fault of the hotel.

The room is big and clean. Swimming pool and small gym on the rooftop. Good breakfast. The staff are helpful and friendly. Good location which is near Chao Phraya river, Robinson mall, BTS and night bazaar. There are many eateries nearby the hotel. We will return when back in Bangkok next time. We would to thank all the staff for the service rendered to us.

Good location, good hotel! I would recommend it”
Really nice staff, nice hotel, big rooms!, good bed, bathroom clean and good (but shower in bathtub), safetydepositbox, location perfect! Close to the BTS train station. Only 2 or 3 stops from nightlife patpong and also the lumphini park (playground for children). But, its also located really close to a very good foodcourt! It's a perfect location to find good food close by and have a train going around Bangkok. I would absolutely recommend it! For families, couples and singles it's very nice. But I would not spend more then 1600 per night to be honest. Point to improve: - I hate wifi's with everyday login and maximum devices. Also the wifi is not very strong.

The rooms were large, the AC was cold, the pool area was really nice, the breakfast was good. It is about a 4-6 minute walk to the river where you can catch a river taxi or river tour OR you can hop on the sky train. We found the location to be ideal as there are also markets and food nearby. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Whenever I will be in Bangkok (2 x per year) I feel me very welcome and comfortable in the Grand Sathorn. I appreciate the location, few minutes to the Skytrain Station „Saphan Taksin“, near to the river. Around the corner a laundry. Nice and good choices for street food or restaurants, Shops, Seven Eleven and and and... The rooms are very big and very comfortable, everything you need. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool on the top is nice to relax. Good price-performance ratio .

We stayed there for 3 nights . The hotel is in a very good location, few meters away from the air train. Rooms are huge and very clean. I will definitely stay there again !!!

Walking distance from Saphan Taksin pier and station, and to 7-eleven/modest shopping mall for groceries. Convenient and big room for the price I paid. Pool was nice and big at the rooftop, nice view. Recommended to my dad after and he enjoyed his stay as well.

Great Hotel, great staff, good value. ”
Great hotel, it is older, but still looks great, mainly thanks to the great staff, who you can tell care about their job. I got some lovely assistance from them, and they went out of their way. The food is good, the cleaning is superb, and it is closely located to the BTS with some good shopping available.

Lovely Room”
Although the food was pricier than eating each which we expected, the food was much nicer than some meals we’ve had particularly the restaurants close by. Worth the money. After spending six weeks travelling on the islands the room looked like a palace.

Big room, rooftop pool and great staff”
Rooms are big and clean. Good view at the rooftop swimming pool. There is a little gym and a bar/restaurant at the rooftop as well. Staff are so nice and helpful. Greta people. The only thing is that the shower is not good. Can’t get the temperature right, it’s either too cold or burning hot.
