Great place ”
Reasonable priced for nice hotel. Food and dinner options are far away. Don’t have to leave hotel with such great amenities. The onsen was awesome, and no one at all there. Very quiet hotel. Great stay

Big hotel, beautiful location”
It's obvious that this hotel is not visited by many foreigner, which to me is good. It's in a somewhat secluded location, still well within the Hamamatsu city limits. It's easy to access by car, and they have a big parking lot for free. The room was big, but sort of "empty". Like it's too big, if that makes sense. But, clean and functional, so no complaints. The public bath was pretty good, but don't expect the best of the best. I was surprized that the lady who checked me in, was able to communicate with basic English, since this hotel doesn't cater towards foreign guests for the most part.

Nice view from the room and the staff were amazingly helpful and supportive. However, the carpets, wall paper and furniture are in desperate need of replacement.

Clean hotel facing Lake Hamana”
The hotel provide traditional SPA if you are into it. Location is away from main route Tokyo - Kyoto, but will be a good stop over if you intend to explore Lake Hamana area as the hotel is facing the Lake.

Restaurant infrastructure is insufficient for guests”
During our stay we tried to have dinner at the buffet restaurant, which according to the site has 400 seats. We could see from the outside that there were plenty of free seats available, but they did not allow us to have dinner there. Still have no clue why ... As there were plenty of free seats and we were there more than 2 hours prior to the closing time.

There are no smoking free”
I booked a non-smoking room with kids such as a family room. However, the floor was divided into smoking rooms by the elevator. Therefore, the floor smells like smoke so much. I asked the hotel staff they said they cannot change room for us because the family rooms are on the floor only. I am not sure that is true or not. Anyway, I cannot believe they place the family room the same as the smoking rooms floor.

Smking/non-smoking”
I reserved non-smoking room, but I was assigned somking room. After severe clain, I could barely reassigned. I think it was because I was foreigner. The location was very inconvinient. Too far from Hamamatsu city, and insufficient outside restaurant.

Hotel for a night's stop”
The hotel is a large traditional hotel with a view over the Lake Hamana bay. We got a large room with comfortable beds fully according to expectations, even if we could feel that previous guests had smoked in the room. Decent breakfast, simple parking, silent surroundings and easy access to the expressway.

Hotel feels dated and probably needs some revamping. Has the simple basic necessities provided.

Clean but crowded”
Room was spacious and well equipped. However there are very limited food options and nothing in the surroudings to walk to for a meal. Make a prior reservation at the restaurants if you intend to stay there or buy food on the way in.

A bit Dated but Hotsprings is Tops”
It's a little out of the way. You can take the trains to JR Maisaka Station. Hotel has free shuttle bus at the northern exit up until 5pm. After that ask for a taxi ahead of time. Onsen pools are great after a long day of trekking around. Rooms lack tables to put stuff on and very few electric sockets with only two prongs. Rooms are dated with sparse decorations but huge. Noise insulation was good. Didn't hear neighbors

Relax Time with Family”
The hotel is old but it’s good. Onsen is good but I hope they will consider guest with tattoo to use the onsen freely, it’s some kind of racism in someway. Don’t get me wrong but we live in a modern generation now where tattoo is an art not some kind of mafia thing… so maybe the management could consider such consideration with their guests…. just saying…😊 The best part which i can give 5stars is the breakfast! It was the best breakfast ever! I can say it is good for families and couples who want to relax for a moment! Thank you
