Close to Connaught circle, walking distance. Wonderful view. Rooms clean and nice, but a bit dated. Breakfast very simple, and for US/ Europeans very little choice. They should do something with breakfast.

10 reasons I won't return to the Hans Hotel.”
10. 1 (out of 2) elevators operational serving all the hotel floors for the entirety of my 6-night stay. At times even the one elevator was out of commission requiring hotel guests to access lobby and restaurant with a service elevator providing a unique introduction to the bowels of the building. 9. Bath towels so well used you can see light through them. 8. No swimming pool. 7. No fitness center. 6. Arcane rules regarding having guests even when one has paid for double occupancy. 5. Reception staff who acts as though the guest is crazy for not immediately apprehending these arcane rules (see No. 6 above). 4. Limited offerings in evening dinner buffet menu. 3. Management is somehow absent from the property. If there were trained managers on site I don't think the elevator situation would have continued for so long. 2. Weak signal wifi prompting me to use cellular data dowloads rather than use hotel wifi. 1. Paper napkins in the dining room. The staff was (mostly) terrific.

Good option to stay in New Delhi”
Good location and good breakfast. Not may options to stay in New Delhi, so I would recommend this hotel because it's close to Connaught place with many restaurants. Close to the metro station as well

This is the worst hotel than claimed. No facilities, no toiletries, only one drinking water bottle, second is charged at 200 Rs. Absolutely noncourteous staff. Worst experience

This does not qualify to be termed as a 4 star property. The bookings are being confirmed by the hotel even when the rooms aren’t available with them making guests wait for hours for the check in.

Nice place overall - Could improve a few things”
Overall, the Hans Hotel is a great place to stay. The location is quite central (near Connaught Place and the main New Delhi train station but away from the dreadful Paharganj Area), the facilities are clean, the staff is professional. The stay includes a nice breakfast buffet (try the fresh parathe (layered flaky flatbread) with mango chutney - you have to order these separately but at no extra charge). We also had a snack of pizza and beer in the Carmelo restaurant one evening - it's a pretty decent bar. We got the room on a discount through Agoda, making it a very good value for Delhi. Only one major complaint: Watch out for the EXORBITANT PHONE CHARGES!!! One short call to a non-local Indian cell phone cost RS 1400!!!
