Lovely pet friendly rooms with a sea view. Staff were amazing - our dog is nervous in new environments, and they were so good with him. Breakfast was amazing - Scottish porridge and full Scottish fry - couldn&#39;t ask for more!

loved the characterful bar and restaurant that has sympathetically renovated to a good standard since we last visited a few years ago. Couldn’t praise all the staff enough for the warm welcome and attentiveness they made us feel welcome begin to end. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable and finished to an exceptional standard with an absolutely stunning view of the sea and harbour. The food was good value for money and quick service.
although the room was all round clean and comfortable. The facilities although weren’t lacking was pretty basic for the price, especially if we was staying longer than one night. Also the radiator made loud noise and shook the room when it came on.

Amazing find off the Galloway beaten track.”

Harry and Carol were the perfect hosts with amazing staff working for them. I was made to feel really welcome and enjoyed a lovely meal followed a few drinks in the bar after. The local customers were great to chat to and the roaring fire was the icing on the cake. For a last minute decision where to stay while on the road I made the right choice. I will return.
