Quick midweek beach trip”
Booked in this nice, cozy, boutique 16-room resort three weeks prior so I was able to get a good deal. Probably 35-40% less than the standard weekend rate. Thank you so much, Agoda! They just opened last December 2021 according to Dominic and Majoy in the front desk. Parking is adequate and the check-in was a breeze. There’s welcome drinks for guests and a 30-minute kayak session included but sadly wasn’t able to use it. The room is small but decent. Love the mural, curtains, and bedside lamps. Bed could be longer though and a side table and chair would be greatly useful. We appreciate that there’s an electric kettle and free coffee (not instant, 3-in-1) in the room, as well as sanitary kit (alcohol and face masks). The bathroom could be improved by installing a glass enclosure for the shower area. Of course, their in-house restaurant is Apartment 1B. On the pricey side but taste and serving portions were good! Dinner for 2 pax would probably average ₱1,000 to ₱1,500. Last call is at 8pm. Service by the staff was also impeccable. They’re so accomodating to have our left-over food stored in the fridge since there’s none in the room. The swimming pool is a treat for the kids. Water was cold! Best of all the beach is as close as it can be and there are 4 huts / cabanas where you can lounge. Can stay on the beach from 6am to 6pm only though. There’s also a lifeguard on duty during our first day but not sure on second. And may I just add that they execute their landscaping/gardening really well. Plus, the trees and bamboo in the property are just splendid and magnificient. If I may suggest though to improve or change the flooring (tiles) in some common areas as it seens risky/slippery when wet. It’s well thought of that there’s a large common area on the second floor where you can hang out comfortably any time of the day (or night), play cards, board games, drink, etc. I also spotted a TV but did not use it. Value for money staycation in Laiya”
We stayed with senior citizens and young ones and the hotel was very accommodating to our inquiries and requests. The kids enjoyed the pool especially access is open until 9pm. We loved how everything is a few steps away - the pool, the beach and the restaurant. It’s a small, cozy hotel that delivers its promise of a relaxed vacation. The room was clean, and the staff were very attentive and friendly :) will come back here with family :)

Everything is already within the hotel premises. Just a few rooms so the area is not crowded, something I appreciate when I want some peace and quiet. The beach and pool were easily accessible! Rooms are clean! Apartment 1B restaurant serves delicious food. Will come back for sure

The resort is a very nice place to stay in the staffs are friendly.the place are clean and it felt safe. The whole resort is kid friendly. The beach is beautiful the facilities are new. The food was great and tasteful. Maybe one thing that needs to be improved is more choices in the restaurant.

The staff were courteous and helpful; The room was speckless and had all the amenities a typical traveling family would need. The location was great! The henry is situated by the beach. Beautiful place to take a leisurely stroll. The food was top-notch. I honestly would stay here again just for the food.

Best Summer Bang!”
Rooms and surroundings are very clean, even the beach shore! We had fun jet skiing with the kids (6 and 7). Waters are clear. Food is yummy and tama lang naman pricing for this area. Staff super friendly, and accommodating.

The place was really nice the staff are super friendly and accommodating very professional. Everything was good except for the smell of the pillows im bot sure if it’s just in our room but it smelled like old wood and sweat. I just didn’t bother to ask to change them good thing bought towels to cover the pillows while i sleep. But all in all it was a very calm and clean place. Will be back again in the future. 😊

Clean rooms and common facilities; beachfront location. Food at Apartment 1B is highly recommended. Pool is shaded so you can swim anytime. No TV and ref in room (though we do not mind since we spend most of the time outdoors). Wifi connection is strong. Staff is courteous and helpful. Will definitely stay in this place again.

Overnight stay at The Henry Laiya”
My mom and I enjoyed our overnight stay at The Henry Laiya. They have a restaurant at the property so you don't need to go far when you go hungry. The swimming pool was also nice. However, there are some points for improvement. It would have been nicer if the room had a TV and if the plug of the water thermos had an adaptor. We couldn't use the water thermos since we didn't know an adaptor was needed to be able to plug it.
