We stayed here for 2 nights. It’s a lovely property and the staff is very courteous and the service is excellent. It’s not modern luxury but has a very warm and nice old world charm which makes the stay lovely. The hotel is super clean and maintained. The restaurants and food is best you can find in Shillong. They have three restaurants, two of which were functional. The other one was used for only breakfast. You must stay here if in Shillong.

I have very romantic ideas of Shillong after reading Rabindra Nath Thakur's Sesher kobita, Lila Majumdar's story & autobiography. Today my imagination matched with reality. Location wise excellent. Well maintained heritage Bunglow with so many space & excellent view. Hospitality & behaviour of staffs are excellent. Must visit place of Shillong. Certainly come back again with my loved one.

Tucked away on a hilltop, this sprawling heritage property is actually a castle with glimpses of Tripura Royalty through wall murals, old photographs and a vintage collection of decor. The staff are well trained, courteous, wear masks & are professional. Hygiene at the restaurants & rooms are well maintained. There are sanitiser stands at every entrance too. Really good property and hospitality ”
I really enjoyed my stay here. Really good property. I stayed in the heritage wing. Even a supreme room there was good enough for me. I paid between Rs5000-8000 per night for supreme room on different dates. The Queen heritage room was Rs10000 and worth that for a night or two of comfort.

Truly awesome place to stay in Shillong.An interesting blend of modern and heritage culture. Complementary breakfast has many veg as well as non veg options to choose from However, the restaurant ala carte that we had in their oriental restaurant was mediocre. Overall very pleasant experience.

Wonderful heritage property in Shillong. ”
A heritage property in Shillong atop a hill with lots of greenery around. The room I stayed in the valley wing was nice facing the valley. The size of the room is good with a small verandah. The bathroom is also nice and clean. Breakfast is laid at the Forest wing. There is a good choice of food considering the place is in Shillong. Service is good. Welcome tea provided on arrival. Reception is co operative and check in is without any hassle. Being a couple friendly place, there are a lot of area to stroll around and relax in the sun.

Beautiful colonial Property giving you views of Shillong”
One of the classiest properties in Shillong. Being the grounds of the Tripura castle dosen't hurt either! Grand rooms and access to their Club restaurants makes it worthwhile. The access is a bit far in Risa colony and you will need your own transportation to go in and out of the City. I stayed in the Forest View rooms and much preferred them to the Valley View rooms which are right above the dining area and can get noisy. The restaurant serves great breakfast and the views are unbeatable. At night, most of the club patrons in Shillong come here as well to enjoy a drink and dinner. If you want a classy stay in Shillong with the feels of a hill station, I would definitely recommend this place. Police Bazaar is only 15 mins away depending on the traffic.
