Beautiful new hostel and hotel, clean and great staff!”
Sitting on the balcony/front terrace area of 'The Highland House' now writing this review. I don't often write reviews but they are just so awesome here in many ways I want to show my thanks by writing a review. Also they just opened so I want everyone to know how nice it is so so you come here! This is a well done hostel/hotel/homestay, all brand new and clean adn they said I am guest number 4, pretty cool. It's just what is needed for here in Buon Ma Thuot for the crowd doing the motorcycle trip up and down Vietnam. It has an outdoor and indoor social area to meet other travelers and relax. The wifi is working good with cozy couches outside, cool swing chair basket things and it has great atmosphere, good music going the whole time with lighting and style that makes me feel at home and relaxed. There is a kitchen, a menu to order food and drinks which are really affordable and a private under ground garage to park my bike. They speak really good English here so it's great to get to talk to them conversationally and to get any help needed/questions answered. I am staying in the dorm room with 6 beds, the beds are bigger than the standard dorm bed size and the AC is sweet! There is another girl in there (guest number 5) who is doing the trip as well from Hanoi to Saigon, she is also going to Dalat tomorrow so it was great to meet her. Oh and it's the cheapest place in town, good value! I look forward to coming back here in a year as I'm sure it will be more busy and 'the place' that backpackers and travelers stop over for their time in Buon Ma Thuot. I'm always thankful and happy to see these places opening up so I don't have to stay in a boring hotel, this is wayyyy better. Hooray! Prettiest and nicest place I have stayed in a long time. Oh and another reason I'm making sure to write a review is because the staff and owner have been so helpful to me. I needed a mechanic for several problems with my bike and Trung personally brought me to a really go

Excellent Hotel with Excellent Staff”
Stayed at The Highland House in September 2016. Staff were great all round and accommodating and very very helpful. Room is new and very clean and bathroom was nice! airconditioning was strong and water pressure & temperature was good. Comfy and cozy and enjoyed my stay at The highland house. And may I mention the good food was reasonably priced at the coffeeshop at round floor. Nearest coffee village was an easy 5 to 10 minute walk. Location of the hotel is quiet and peaceful at night and taxi drivers know the street very well (although not the hotel) just tell them the street name and stop when you see the sign. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Buon ma thuot and my best wishes to the highland house team! Thank you for being hospitable! Great little hotel and high in my recommendations.

The best hotel in Vietnam”
We really enjoy stay in hotel. It was definitely the cleanest hotel in Vietnam, even better than Vinpearl Resort. It's modern, simple, clean, helpful staff - especially owner :) I think most people from Europe will enjoy that place. What could be better - mattress are rather hard, there is no restaurant - but hotel can order food. They have contact to best tourist guide in Buon Ma Thuot. Thank you and good luck Hanh! We had a great stay here. All the staff is super friendly and helpfull. Everything is really new, and for us it was a big plus that it's a bit out of the center; it's nice and calm in a more residential area. Go here if you want to go to buon ma thuot!

Wonderful new Hotel with great staff !”
We stayed in that hotel for 4 days and really enjoyed every Minute of it. The staff is very nice, can speak Englisch and also are trying to help you with every question you have (where to go etc..). The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated, big bathroom and of course have AC. The variety of drinks they have in the coffeeshop downstairs are very delicious and the price for them is absolutely fair. All in All we can definitely recommend that hotel, if you plan to stay in Buon Ma Thout!

Adorable and awesome service”
My friend and I stayed at this hotel for a couple days. We took a chance because there was only one review, but we were happily blown away with how awesome this hotel was. As soon as we got there, the aesthetic and the sweet, helpful staff impressed us. They were very informative and accommodating-- they hooked us up with a great tour guide to show us the natural beauty of the area and on our last day, they provided a place for us to shower even after we had checked out. The coffee shop on the first floor was comfy and (again) soooo cute. We even thought of extending our stay because we loved the hotel so much, but after 2 full days we felt we had seen a lot and wanted to move on to our next destination. The only difficulty was sometimes finding the hotel Bc google maps sends you like around the corner, but just grab a helpful card with the address and map at reception and you shld be able to find your way easily.

Best Service I have EVER received”
I have become a raving fan of this hotel in just one night of staying here. The service is beyond anything I have ever experienced at any 5 star hotel. My favorite drink in the coffee shop was the lemon grass and lime drink. So amazing! Also, the attention to detail and the design of the lobby was quite well done. Seeing is believing! The only thing I recommend for people who like comfort for their beds, is ask for 2 comforters and fold them in half! The beds are designated for Vietnamese and the owner said that they like rock hard mattresses. Also, for those new to this city, it has become my favorite in most of Asia. The feel is of a small village., but has many shops and much more things to do than a small village.

Great value for money”
Location isnt the best as its a bit far from the center, (very close to the central bus station) but you can still walk to some good restaurants in the area. Hotel itself is excellent, very clean and neat (I think they said it has only opened 4 months ago) Staff is super friendly and helpful, after the first night we had a bit of smell from the shower drain, despite fixing the problem they still moved us to a different room. Also they helped us alot with bookings and recomendations. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Terrible service”
This is more of a guest house than a hotel. They don't have enough facility and didn't clean the room unless requested many times. Too far from city center. I was charged extra for 3 adults even though I reserved the master twin with 2 beds. Aweful customer service. My room was never clean by the staff and I booked 4 nights there. Too bad.

Neues Hotel mit freundlichem Personal”
Das Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb aber dafuer ist es sehr ruhig. Beim Einchecken konnte ich auch das Motorrad in die Garage stellen und Win half mir beim Tragen des Gepaecks. Das Zimmer war soweit in Ordnung. Am naechsten Tag bekam ich noch gratis ein Fruehstueck offeriert mit dem besten Fruchtsaft, den ich je getrunken habe und konnte danach gestaerkt meine Weiterreise fortsetzen.
