Clean and Simple”

I was walking the Tokaido from Tokyo to Kyoto with my friend. 3S Hotel Hiratsuka was right on the path, so we didn't have to veer far from where we needed to be. The staff were very friendly: they were patient with our imperfect Japanese and one tried hard to speak English for us as well. The bath facilities (sauna, hot bath, cool bath, outdoor-temperature room) were very clean and comfortable, above average for this price range of hotel, in my experience. The rooms were clean, had wifi, were relatively new-feeling, and the beds were decently comfortable. Breakfast wasn't an option, but that wasn't an issue.

Excellent accommodation for individual or group. Staff were excellent and very responsive. Location was incredible for the price. Will book again.

Great Location for Tanabata Festival”

I stayed at this hotel because I wanted to be in Hiratsuka for their famous annual Tanabata festival. This hotel was right in the middle of all the action. They had no problem holding onto luggage before official check in time and after official check out time. The room was small, but was just fine to sleep in.

Good hotel if you need to stay in Hiratsuka”

This is a good hotel if you somehow need to stay near Hiratsuka station. It is located in central of Hiratsuka city and surrounded by many restaurant and shops. And there are may manga books at the lobby so it might be good for killing time as well.

Basic, but good”

The Hours Hotel was a decent place to stay for the cost. The rooms were average size compared to other Japanese business hotels, and the staff very helpful. The best part of the hotel was the free drink service.

a comfortable budget hotel”

Stayed there for 4 days.. The location is near the train terminal just a short 10 mins walk.. dining and marts near the hotel, the staff is very helpful and Free computer access along with lots of manga to read at the lobby...

Small but comfortable rooms”

Convenient to station at a cheap price. Only complaint was that they told me to park the car in coin parking despite that they had free hotel parking in back. I went on my own & parked in the hotel parking overnight for free with no problems.

Nice Hotel”

Friendly budget hotel in busy Tokyo suburb”

Very friendly staff always tried to be helpful, & were not ashamed of communicating to foreigners (some Japanese can be quite embarrassed about low level of English skills - real or imagined). Very basic hotel with basic furnishings (room for laptop and work at small desk... a plus) and the bathroom was a decent size considering this was basically Tokyo. Was comfortable. Near some good shopping, like a Y100 store and a good used clothing boutique. Close to train for Kamakura connections. Lots of affordable seafood restaurants nearby. Everyone in town was quite warm and friendly.

Rooms are small but very clean with extremely nice staff. Plenty of places to eat, nice hot spring nearby.

staff could not communicate in English...no clear guidance to another aar parking while the original parking lot were full...room is very small..
