I was absolutely astonished when I seen what we got for £17 per night on the agoda site, the rooms were clean, there showers were amazing, there was always free tea and coffee free 24/7 & not cheap tea or coffee it was tetleys and nescafe. there was a dining area along with a microwave should u want to grab a bite to eat from the shop. The staff were always kind and polite, Ewan (who I think was the manager) was great at showing us around the b and b when we first arrived and letting us know where to get things etc,The cleaners although didn't speak great English were always full of smiles and were on hand to help u on anyway. We will 100% be staying here on a regular basis if available at £17 each night as we are waiting to move into our new house as it wont be ready for 3 weeks. I hated that we had to leave today after 4 days as it always booked at weekend, I could have stayed right through till our new home was ready.

It was a lovely hotel, great value for money and it was very comfortable and relaxing to sleep in.”

I would recommend anyone who is looking on an affordable hotel in the city to go there. Although there’s no restaurant or room service however, there’s local takeaways nearby literally a 10 min walk. You have to ring the reception to get in the building as the code never works besides that you wouldn’t need to ring them. Take it from me you’d really enjoy your stay as I did❤️❤️

The check-in process was easy, and the staff were excellent. It's not a flash place, but it's comfortable, and clean. The showers and toilets were cleaned everyday. Slightly out of town, but close to the train and buses. For the price, this is excellent value.

          2 night stay for Creamfields”

          Staff, price, value for money

Enjoyed our stay at the Knowlsley B & B. The staff member was very nice to us. If your looking to have basic accommodation for a party weekend then it is a great place to stay.

Booked for one night for business trip”

It states it’s a B and B but you only get one b which is the bed. The bedding was filthy and has ash stains as well as someone else’s blood. The room had cobwebs dangling of the walls. The kettle that is supplied with cups are dirty, broken and not fit for purpose. It is a shared bathroom which is equally as dirty with urine on the seats, shower not kept clean or the sink. It was a wipe your feet on the way out type of place. May suit students better but definitely not working professionals , I suppose you pay cheap get cheap but would expect the basics of a clean room and somewhere to get a drink at least. It took me over 3 hours to travel there was very tired but hated that much went straight back out to view the beauty of Liverpool. I’m glad it was for one night only and left sharpish the next morning. It’s coded entry to get in the building, the code is changed throughout the day. There is no parking at all, have to bump up on the curb and hope you don’t get a ticket! Look elsewear

Room was reasonably priced and really near Anfield so location is good however the room we stayed in looked like the previous guest had wrecked it. No tv remote, hole in the wall that looked like missing remote had been thrown at it. Both bedside lights had been snapped and the window handle snapped off. (I did report missing remote and broken lights to the intercom at the main entrance ). My duvet cover had marks on it my son's didnt. Shared bathroom was ok. Didnt use the shower but it looked clean. Good if you just want a one night stay and a bed for the night

Cheap and adequate basic accomodation. No frills. ”

          Cheap, cheerful, close to city-airport-ferry.

If your looking for a cheap and cheerful short stay this provides well. Very basic and really only suitable for backpacker hostel type accomodation. Staff attendant appeared to enjoy his job and this was reflected in his enthusiasm to help.

My friend and I initially drove past the property because we were convinced this couldn't be the place. The building looked like it had been derelict for years, with windows on the ground floor boarded up. When you arrive at this hotel there is no reception, and you have to ring the manager in order to get the code. Never seen the manager or any of the staff and when you do finally get into the building there is actually no reception. As such I don't think this place should be classed as a B&B or a hotel without staff or a reception. None of this information is provided on the Knowsley website, and lucky we had the managers number already as he overbooked us in the hotel (but that's another story). What really annoyed me however was when my friend and I arrived back one evening and two women in their 60s were waiting in the rain wondering what to do. I'm not sure how long they'd been standing there but luckily enough we arrived and let them in and had to explain that they had to ring..

          poor customer service ”

extremely disappointed with the customer service as I am still waiting for the manager to contact me regarding the major issue we had whilst staying last week..... on Thursday night the door lock to the entrance of the building was broken meaning we could not leave the premises, although this was fixed by the morning I felt very unsettled as this was the only exit out of the building.... i was staying with my partner and her 5year old daughter. we had booked a family room however upon arrival the room only had 2 single beds pushed together... this was not what we expected

Would not recommend. Not only were the communal areas dirty and damp, but so was the room. Specifically the walls and ceiling of the room had smear marks on them, and hairs in the bed. Do not stay here

          Worst place i've ever stayed!”

Location is nowhere near city centre so although you save money on accomodation you spend it on getting into town. Wifi dropped out every 20 seconds so I had to use my own data for stable connection. On a main road so wasn't quiet and could hear the traffic. The room absolutely stunk of cigarette, when told the hotel they said it's non smoking so doesn't make sense. Weren't helpful at all. The place isn't even manned it's an intercom system which was impossible to hear when cars kept driving by. I paid for 2 nights and barely got through the first before leaving. First place i've ever left in my life. Stay away at all costs.
