The cost of agoda deals”
My family and I have been travelling for sometime and on our way out of India decided on staying at the lalit because of its location and the good price deal on agod which was in our price range. We arrived late on our first night and with two small children we did not want to take them out for a meal. Whilst the hotel has many choices for food eating I was alarmed at the cost to eat in each reataurant. To pay 6000 rupees for three bowls of noodles and water and a small plate of sushi is daylight robbery. My suggestion is the lalit should rather not advertise on agoda with special deals alternatively it should be a warning to regular families travelling that whilst the rooms are clean and comfortable the restaurant food prices are exorbitant.

Excellent Service, The LaLit New Delhi”
We had a stop over in Delhi during a holiday visiting Rajasthan, India. The standout of our stay was Ashok who exceeded our expectations in everyway he was professional, respectful, efficient and kept our room sparkling clean. We stayed in a Premier King Room, which was extremely comfortable and a perfect size. The food, pool, gym and staff were of a high standard. The other staff also had great customer service skills. The only negative was the coffee needs improvement. Otherwise it was an excellent stay and I would highly recommend to others traveling through Delhi.

Quick receival at concierge, guided to check in where welcomed by soft spoken staff .Great Covid security protocols followed regarding ensuring vaccination etc. Stay was great too.Only feed back as woman I missed full sizemirror in room.We stayed at suit room on 22nd floor view was breathtaking specially after new year celebration saw peaceful city at night and in morning. Enjoyed lavish breakfast with quick helpfulservices.Soaked in sun after breakfast in outside sitting area clean and cozy. I would recommand this place anytime as its close to heart of city CP area.

Beautiful hotel in very good location”
We booked 6 nights (8 to 14 May 2019) at Lalit New Delhi Hotel as it was within walking distance to Statesman House. My husband need to visit his client and do some work there. Its about 4 mins walk to Barakhambha Road Metro and 10mins to walk to Connaught Place. The hotel lobby is very big and beautiful with quite a collection of art paintings around the place. Room is very big and spacious with large comfy bed. Provided 4 bottles of mineral water daily in the room. Very happy to book this hotel on our first trip to India, which is memorable. Breakfast was great with a wide selection of Indian & Western food. Staff were very polite and provided great customer service. Will definitely stay here again if my husband is coming for another business trip.

Our second stay at the Lalit. At our first stay we were not fully satified by the way we were welcomed, but the second time we had a fantastic stay. The rooms are very spacious, executive rooms, spotless clean and fresh. The personnell very attentive and a great breakfast - but watch out there may be some waiting to get a table for breakfast at the peakhour. All in all a great stay and I can warmly recomed the hotel.

Exceptional”
I went for a meeting and a hearing. I stay regularly. However, this time there was a problem. I was staying in Room No 1135. Twice in encountered shattered glass pieces. The second time it was a little late in the night and it pierced through my leg. I informed the front desk as well. First time I was not sure if my understanding was correct but the second time I was sure that the room was not clean properly and there was some glass broken. I also suffered a minor injury as the glass pierced through my leg.

The Lalit New Delhi is a very classy hotel and the staff have been well trained and are extremely responsive to its guests. I would not hesitate to book here again when I am next in New Delhi and would recommend this establishment without reservation to anyone desiring to stay in a hotel with more than a touch of class. It would be remiss of me not to give a special thanks to Mr. Prabh who was of particular assistance when my wife and I were desperate to get some last minute computer assistance before leaving for the airport. If I had one complaint about the hotel it would have to be that we only stayed one night. It is a pity that the hotel did not warn us that we would have enjoyed our stay so much!!!!!

The hotel rooms were neat and clean. The staff at the reception were very courteous and helpful. They upgraded our rooms at a specific requests without much hassles. The room was big and spacious. I liked everything other than breakfast. This can be improved a bit. It is at the centre of the city and is easily accessible. Thank you all for making our stay a memorable one.

Great option in Connaught place area”
If you're looking to stay in the nice part of Delhi, this is a great option. The staff was very nice, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom had nice amenities, the breakfast spread was extensive. We paid ~107$/night and would stay here again for that price without a doubt.

Excellent staff, ambiance,faculty,24/7 availability of meals.nicely laid out. Jolly customer relations fits & suits the title. She has gone over & beyond. Sandeep & Sunil in dining can't fault the attention to customers meals requirement. Downside get sick of 90% Indian meal choice for breakfast everyday. It's been the same for last 3 visits. Come in guts come up with variety more western. I stopped eating after 3rd day. Diwali festival, Lalit should have done better, there was nothing just some cheap decoration in by be lobby????. Foreigners need to have been made aware what was this big auspicious celebration. Expected at least for breakfast Indian sweets

Top quality hotel”
I stayed here on arrival into Delhi for a few days. The hotel is definitely of five star quality. The hotel rooms are in excellent condition. The staff are very efficient. I didn't use the breakfast facilities here as a short ( and very safe ) walk away are a few handy shops for eating, also a pharmacy , fruit shop and ATM available. It is also not too far from Connaught Place if you prefer high end shops. Overall very good and I would recommend this Hotel.

Conveniently located, Great Rooms, Superb Dining”
We had 2 rooms booked for 3 nights. The location is very convenience, with easy access to most of the local tourist attractions. It was a relaxed holiday and we stayed during busy Christmas Holiday in 2018. The staff were amazing. Rooms were spacious and nicely presented. The dining experiences were really great. It was a festive environment overall due to the Christmas & our overall holiday experience was well over a 5 star rating.

I will recommend this hotel to all and sundry. The hotel gives you value for money. I will definitely stay here again. The staff are so polite and well trained. The breakfast was awesome. I appreciated the concern and kindness the hotel staff showed. Maybe this hotel is more expensive than other hotels but I would rather pay the price for the excellent service and hospitality.

It’s a great hotel overall. The best part is you don’t have to go outside for meals. They have great options for breakfast, lunch and dinner which rival the best restaurants of the city. This is a very very good hotel. We loved it a lot. We arrived from Australia at 10pm and the staff immediately upgraded us to the Presidential Suite. OMG! It was wonderful for my wife's first trip to India and her first hotel. Wonderful place and so close to everything.

Good hotel but...”
You will not get your security deposit back. I checked out 20 days ago and I'm still waiting for the hotel to release my deposit. I sent emails, made many phone calls, send the GM an email - with no replies and as for now - they are still holding more than $300 as a security deposit. The whole great experience from the comfortable room, tasty breakfast and amazing service were forgotten due to the worse customer service from checkout onwards. Here is the warning: DON'T GIVE THEM ANY DEPOSIT WITH A CREDIT CARD - YOU WILL NEVER GET IT BACK!!!! USE CASH ONLY!

Hotel was good and at an amazing location. They have strange rules like rickshaws not allowed in the premises. We took a fun ride in a rick but were asked to get out the hotel gate as they were not allowed in the hotel.
