Better than I expected”

It definitely was one of the cheapest hotels I could find in zone 1/2 and it was relatively convenient as it was roughly a 5 min walk from the nearest tube station. It was very clean and spacious too for both the bedroom and bathroom, which is rare to find in central London. Some specifics would be that because I arrived around 5 pm and it's winter time, walking to the hotel was dark after turning into the residential area away from the main road. There weren't many street lights and so I felt quite unsure and unsafe but the hotel reception area felt welcoming so I did not have a problem. Also, when I was about to take a shower, the water at first was extremely cold then it became unbearably hot, but it was fine after 10 minutes of waiting for the water to settle. Other than that, my stay was overall very pleasant and the staff was very efficient too.

Traditional hotel experience in traditional surroundings - exceeded my expectations”

This was perfect for my needs as a business traveler. The bed was comfortable, hotel and surroundings were quiet, the shower was hot and powerful and the room was secur. That's all I really need when I'm travelling for work. Compared to chain hotels I was really pleased to have a room with a sofa, with big windows that I could open, free wi-fi and a good desk and chair. There was also a fridge - something which used to be commonplace and I really appreciated this extra touch. TV had a good selection of channels but was a little on the small side and could only be seen from the bed. The room was very large with high ceilings which should help keep it cool in summer - no aircon but not required or expected. Check-in staff were friendly and efficient, as was check-out. Good selection of local services available mean that I will definitely stay there again. It is let down a little by being a bit shabby in places - worn stair carpets and some wallpaper marks but that's the only negative.

5 to 8 minutes to the nearest bus and tube station. fairly convenient to get to city centre. rate a bit high compared to similar hotel in terms of facility and distance to city. friendly staff, breakfast is good. room is on the small side, but sufficient. good insulation so it is comfy and warm even on cold days. a bit more competitive price would make it a very ideal hotel

Convenient, lovely staff and peaceful ”

The house is old and is always going to need work done but it’s very clean. The ceilings in bathroom (both ours and sisters room) were damp... because the doors are automic and always shut they don’t get a proper air.l; this might be an idea and source the damp problem! We would stay here again. Excellent place, loved it

Exceptional”

Stayed here to be near our son’s studio at hampstead. Love the vincity. Quiet, lovely blooms in manicured gardens of houses, easy walk to Finchley Road station and a huge Sainsbury, yet away from the busyness. Large room with a sofa, adequate breakfast and all in good value!

The hotel was a pleasant surprise - much better than I expected for the money. Bedroom was roomy, good bathroom en suite, staff attentive but unfussy and excellent coffee for breakfast.

The check-in process was easy and efficient. The hotel is location close to the Fincheley Road station which is very nice. The only downside was the garish decor of the rooms.

We have been staying here for four years. The same staff have always been on duty which tells you that it is a friendly place to stay.

This hotel was perfectly fine for what I wanted it for. If you after a luxury stay then this isn't for you but if you just want a standard hotel it is! Breakfast was good, varied but no full english. Dtaff could be more pleasant on serving customers. Receptionist nice and friendly. Would stay again to use as a base.

Decent for the price”

This property is in a lovely, safe neighborhood and the staff were pleasant enough. The rooms are ok, but outdated and in need of refurbishment. The bed was old and lumpy. The breakfast was good enough, but very basic with no hot food available. All in all, it was just okay, good enough to lay your head down but only for a night or two.

Un hotel, ni cerca ni lejos de las atracciones turisticas, limpio y aparentemente renovado. Habitación grande con decoracion agradable. Aseo nuevo, bastante chulo. desayuno correcto, nada de especial. No hay desayuno ingles.

Zunächst das Gute: - Relativ nah zur U-Bahnstation(etwa 5 Minuten), daher rasch im Stadtzentrum - guter Orangensaft zum Frühstück, Wasserspender jeder benutzbar - Wasserkocher sowie Tee und löslicher Kaffee auf dem Zimmer Negativ: - Personal zwar freundlich, jedoch vollkommen überfordert und zerstreut - unterdurchschnittliches Frühstück - Brötchen hart, wenn überhaupt vorhanden, nichts Warmes, Kaffee muss man erfragen, Obst gibt es nicht, nur Obstsalat - so lang er reicht, insgesamt geringe Auswahl - Nach Teller und Besteck sowie Servietten muss man zum Frühstück auch fragen - Teppich auf den Zimmern schien nie gestaubsaugt zu werden, Fensterbretter waren auch drinnen verschmutzt, Geschirr auf Zimmer wurde entweder nur sehr schlecht gesäubert oder gleich ganz dreckig belassen - Bäder (ja, wir mussten auf Grund einer übergelaufenen Toilette mehrfach umziehen) waren sehr eklig, Klobürste fiel auseinander, teilweise nicht mal Klopapierhalter, ...
