For my first time in Palawan, I was lucky to have chosen the Legend Hotel. It was the same hotel where the contestants for the Miss Philippines Earth were staying! I stayed there with my cousin and a friend. With the cot, the room was spacious. The free breakfast buffet good. We booked the underground river tour through the hotel. Our guide, Echo, was funny and informative. The pool area was nice. However we had to flag down a staff member to order food and drinks for us from the restaurant. It would have been nice to have staff out there to help you. It was easy to get transportation to the town-center. I would definitely stay here again, if I was ever in Puerto Princesa again.

. it’s a 3-star hotel but the price is really affordable. that includes taxes, airport transports, buffet breakfast for two, and all the assistance you want. they give complimentary fruit drinks upon arrival, and inside the room there were bottles of water and instant coffee which are mine too (unlike other hotels that charge you extra upon check-out if you touch any of the consumable items inside the room). *i booked via agoda.com because prices there are cheaper. anyway, i am recommending legend palawan because their people are very polite, very modest, very courteous. they will extend effort to make you feel comfortable. yesterday, we were supposed to check out 12 noon but since it has been raining and there was a possibility of flight cancellation or delay, they bumped our check-out time to 3 pm just so we can make sure first if we have a flight that afternoon or not. that was free of charge. also, they are prompt and friendly, and they also don’t have hidden charges for these friendly services. and, their free buffet breakfast is really delicious. there are a lot of dishes to choose from: a selection of fruits, drinks, cereals, breads, pancit, soup, plain and garlic rice, and a lot more. everything is delicious, plus the ambiance of the restaurant is very cozy with a very talented pianist setting the mood is very relaxing! :)

legend hotel seems to be centrally located it's so easy to go to different restaurants in city proper.the place was kept clean and bright. the price is all worth it.people are so friendly they go out of your way to make you feel satisfied. the man at the reception even personally packed in a box our souvenirs,delicasies bought so we can have them checked in at the airport in a breeze.i will not hesitate to recommend the hotel to friends. i'll definitely book in the same hotel when i go back to puerto princesa.

We only had a night stay in the legend,but found their service outstanding..the room was comfortable ,their express laundry service was very efficient and the over-all ambience of the hotel was pleasing over all. Legend's location is so convenient to see the sights, the night life and do shopping in Puerto Princesa.

during my stay in palawan, i was very fortunate to have chosen legend hotels .i stayed there to go over some business transactions and i was very impressed about everything the hotel had offer.it was strategically location and the food is excellent. i was very pleased with the staff because they provided fast and efficient services. overall,the hotel. itself looked "old" but the good thing about it was that it exuded timelessness and excellence.. i would love to recommend legend hotel to mt family and friends. would definitely come again....

legend hotel is strategically located in the heart of puerto princesa palawan, its near to everything...great restaurant, market, shopping and transportation. staff are great & friendly. rooms are clean & hotel size is not that big as this makes not to crowded during breakfast buffet. this hotel is also value for money, rooms are big enough for couple, clean & complete with facilities. hope in the future that rooms will be wifi ready and not only the lobby. i enjoy the breakfast buffet variety of filipino food. easy to book & arrange tours. i'll be back for sure in this hotel. cheers

Prior to our legend palawan hotel, we were so bummed out with prior hotels in manila and cebu, with many frustrations. It was such a welcome treat to find legend palawan's hotel in good shape, esthetically appealing; staff very attentive, the food is GOOD! We will definitely come back to this hotel!

the hotel is in a very good location right in the heart of the city of puerto princesa. it's a business hotel, but family with young or even older children can enjoy their facility since they have a pool. we had a pleasant stay. they serve a good buffet breakfast, lunch, merienda (afternoon snack), and dinner. their breakfast and afternoon snack are much cheaper. there are several places to visit like the now famous puerto princesa underground river (voted as one of the new seven wonders of nature), honda bay island hopping tour, crocodile farm tour, mitra ranch wherein you can have zipline adventure, and other outdoor activities. thank you agoda for giving us opportunity to get good hotels at reasonable prices.

Hotel is located at 10 drive from Puerto Princesa airport. There are only tricycles (taxicles) available to take you to your hotel. It is recommended that travelers organise hotel transportation when booking. Legend Hotel has its own vans to pick you up from or drive you to the airport. Choice of food in two restaurants is limited but good (if you like Filipino food). If you wish to use the services of the tour operator at the hotel, please book excursions well in advance because trips can be fully booked in a matter of hours.

The stay at Legend Hotel was very pleasant. Very efficient and friendly staff. I love that it is centrally located and accessible to tourist spots and restaurants. Since this is my second chance to stay at the hotel, I noticed that they have improved the rooms in terms of size and cleanliness. The food they serve during buffet is also very good.

our stay at legend Hotel on Feb 13-16 were delightful. Everyone in my group are very happy and satified with the service they showed us , room space and cleanliness, hotel employees are couteous and they really there for you when you needed something.The food were not bad either. I stayed at the Legend Hotel for 14 days. The hotel is excellent and the service first class. The restaurant was completely satisfactory. Everbody here was attentive to your needs and extremely polite. My room was a little small as I prefer a larger one but apart from that everything worked well and the laundry service was super fast. One problem is the wi-fi. The signal is extremely weak and you are left chasing the signal around the wi-fi area. I was lucky in the end I could get a signal in my room especially in the morning - if you rely on your computer like I do then you will not be too happy - whole system needs upgrading.

Coming from Sabang- North of Puerto Princesa. The Hotel at first glance appears to be grand and spectacular. The entrance and check in area is definitely the best part of the hotel. There are 2 new hotels that have just opened up and I think that they may be the better option. The service however was excellent. The front desk and the housekeeping even the staff at the restaurant were great. The hotel was very clean. Do the upgrade to the corner unit to be more comfortable

since the trip was our first for puerto princesa, we did not expect much but the stay was a surprise. initially we allocated 2 days for the underground river and dolphin but we decided to lump it in in 1 day. the staff were able to change and accomodate the change without any additional charges or difficulty and even did it with a smile and a thank you. service is good and the staff very nice. i will difinitely recommend the hotel to friends and relatives that would want to visit the city in the future.

stayed 2 nights to visit the underground river at sabang. room is basic and clean, has bar fridge, cable tv, phone. wifi is available in the lobby and adjacent ground floor areas. hotel has a pool. front office and restaurant staff are wonderfully friendly and keen to please. doorman has a poor knowledge of puerto princesa eg. didn't know wher tio rod's restaurant in rizal ave was.
