A Cozy Clean Space”
The Loft Executive Inn is a cozy space, very well maintained in terms of cleanliness & hygiene. The staff are courteous & always there to assist. Food at the restaurant is good. Absolutely love their quiet little garden. The balcony rooms are the best. They also provide for a driver dormitory Incase travelling with your car and driver. Would look forward to staying at the Loft again.

Very decent place in a good location”
The room with balcony was of good size. Pretty good mattress and a portable heater in the room if winter gets too cold. This is more like a boutique hotel and the reception closes down after 10pm. We didn't have any issues with that and hence no comments. Stay was comfortable and we had dinner (room service) from their restaurant twice and food was really good. The reason for 3 stars is because of their breakfast service. It's a disaster to say the least. Breakfast service officially starts at 7.30 AM but, during the days we stayed it never really kicked off before 8. There was no variety in the menu either. For the price you pay for the room one would be extremely disappointed with this. Nevertheless, the room was good, staff were courteous and friendly which made our stay comfortable.

Go for the location”
We booked rooms with balconies and it was so worth it. The hotel has a pristine view, in a quiet area. Perfect for a getaway. Food is amazing but not too many options — so, don't expect fancy dishes. However, everything on the menu is amazing. The hotel has a lounge area, which is probably my favourite, especially for a cold evening with a hot cup of coffee and a good book.

Great location, tad overpriced”
We stayed for a few nights at the Loft Inn. last winter The staff were courteous and quite responsive. The view from the room is nice and the food was also quite good. The only downside is that the rooms are quite over priced for what the property offers.

1) Location is like a terrain with narrow steep lane 2)Worst Breakfast given the 5-Star Room Tariff. Parantha without Sabji. Have only 3 other items i)cup cake, Bread & Egg Boil - nothing else. 3) Staffs ill-mannered 4) Overall, SOUR experience staying in Loft Exe-Inn Shillong 5)One sldn't choose Loft Exe-Inn Shillong for stay 6) Wastage o money. Really dirty and unhygienic”
We stayed for only 1 night thankfully. The only good point was the room size. Big thumps down to the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom was filthy dirty with stains on towels, hair strands, moldy bathroom curtain and what not. Even the bedsheet and bed covers were dirty. The cups provided were dirty too. Bathroom didn't have a bathing partition which was really impractical. Cherry on top was the rude front office girl. They made us pay extra for our 7 year old even though we didn't ask for extra bed neither we were having breakfast at their hotel. For the price they are charging there are way better options in Shillong.

Got cheated”
When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist told us to do the balance payment of 50% before giving us keys (usually settled at the time of check out). When I looked at the room, it was a standard double room with a small bed. Not at all queen size bed. Manager told us that the image uploaded on Agoda of a Deluxe room is of our other room. Which we can't show you now since its occupied. They refused to transfer us to other room and simply said sorry. Then after fighting for half an hour they gave back mear 10% of our money back. The manage was arrogant and policies are shady. Dont fall for the ratings. Also complimentary bf is a joke, only paratha and omelette available.

If in Shillong and looking for a boutique experience that has wonderful rooms, a small green oasis amid the urban sprawl, look no further.. Highly recommended.

It's a nice place 2 stay though a bit overpriced ”
I loved my stay at The Loft. Although I dmt recommend their single room as it's too small, but I upgraded 2 double bed room the next day of my stay. And I liked the overall ambience of hotel. They have good menu for breakfast and the staff is also very helpful. Especially the green area of hotel and its location, everything is good. Just felt the price on a higher side given the facilities but still would recommend this place. Would love 2 stay again, if ever I visit Shillong again.
