bad value of money; poor hygiene”
Rooms are small, it is expected given the fact that the location is at the heart of west London. However, the in room lighting system is so terrible in the King's Room I stayed - If you are using the console next to bed - you can only either black out the whole room, or have the very high power table lamps on during the night ; the only work around for partial lighting is to black out the whole room first and then to walk, in the dark, to the master console next to the entrance door. :) Staffs are in general courteous - but you will never be able to call for housekeeping and I was only be able to connect to them ONCE during my few-days stay. THE MOST BREATHTAKING THING WAS THE HYGIENE. I checked in on a Wed noon and the room was ready a few hours later - when I was expecting a cleansed room, what welcomed me was quite dusty floor and food debris next to the bed. I called housekeeping and waited for an hour, and it was still there even after night service a few hours later. I tried to call again but no luck connecting to housekeep, so I'll have to clean it myself. It wasn't more of a surprise to me later at night I found long dried curly black hair stuck on my bed sheet and there had been little flies wandering in my room. I am feeling most of the price you will be paying and the five-star status that it has been carrying, are all going to the ToTo Japanese Lavatory in the tiny toilet where you cannot turn your back. I will NEVER EVER go back to this brand.

Amazing hotel”
This hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of London, on Leicester Square, and it is a top hotel. Expensive, yes, but worth it. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and The Residence, for drinks was a lovely place to sit. Would definitely recommend.
