Art Deco Style”
This is a real gem of a hotel. The staff are top notch, the rooms are superbly decorated and equipped to a high standard and warm and comfortable. We selected a room overlooking Morecambe Bay and the views were astonishing. We stayed in Room 208 which was absolutely perfect to watch the varied birdlife and the wonderful sunsets and sunrises. We ate an evening meal in the Sun Terrace Restaurant which was pricey but worth every penny and and the breakfasts that came with the bed and breakfast packages were exellent. We would highly recommend the Midland Hotel for a weekend.

Exceptional”
I've wanted to stay at the Midland for a long time, I love anything Art Deco and we where not disappointed. We are planning to renew our wedding vows and would love to do at the Midland. It's a shame that Morecambe's local authority are not investing in the town, to bring more visitors in.

Midland mymering”
The Midland, stuff of many dreams. Art Deco icon on one of THE most beautiful vista points of Morecambe Bay. If lucky to have an evening with one of Morecambes famous sunsets it is an unbelievable not to be forgotten evening. Dining midst the soft tones and songs of 20's & 30's all I missed was my flapper dress and dancing shoes and of course a partner to dance the night away with. Beautiful colours schemes supposedly taken from old pictures are surprisingly new and vibrant. Innovative space efficient design

Relaxed and Classy”
Like a trip back in time, in a good way, the Midland harks back to a different, more genteel time. The whole experience was great, the only niggle was the food in the Rotunda bar. (Mis-cooked steak and near-raw frites) Staff are fabulous, and give excellent customer service in line with the vibe of the Midland. Superb breakfast with some lovely touches, expertly cooked. We had a great time and look forward to Morecambe catching up with the Midland.

Worth staying at the Midland Hotel if one can afford it due to the iconic status of the building.”
I presume all rooms were similar to ours; quirky space saving features by Urban Splash. Having a bath incorporated into the room would have been nice. The Art Deco decor in the main hotel was superb and the staff friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend breakfast as it was really reasonable, high quality and with a great view overlooking the bay. Prime location on the promenade for walking and cycling.

Best hotel in the North West”
The food was delicious and the staff were exceptional. We had a seaview room which was very clean and managed to be both fun and relaxing; stay there and you'll understand. I've stayed in some supposedly good hotels and been very disappointed but I cannot praise this hotel enough.

Stunning Art Deco building”
The one and only beautiful thing on this side of town. Beach is kinda dangerous with sinking sand, so not for everyone. Stunning building and interesting modern interior. Very clean. Room layout maybe too awkward for old people to figure out how to use it. All expected, but the restaurants' food take ages to come out, young and inexperienced staff, over priced, and unnecessary trying too hard to fancy. Besides, this hotel is a gem of its beauty. Reception staff is very smart and helpful.

Midland Deco Magic”
We stayed on Saturday 13th September 2014. Reception staff were welcoming and efficient, our standard room clean, comfortable and cunningly designed to incorporate a perfectly formed bathroom. The hotel retains a charming Art Deco ambience. The live piano music on a very shiny white piano was a lovely addition to a seat at the bar before dinner. The tunes were appropriately of the 1930's adding to the overall effect. Dinner was splendid with a view to write home about. We will be back.

The story and atmosphere of this hotel set you up for a great stay but the staff really are the best part that make it great - happy, welcoming and helpful. Great breakfast and comfortable facilities. Nice rooms.

Great location. Fantastic building that has been very well restored. Great sea facing room with a small balcony. Food in the restuarant was excelllent and served by very friendly and professional staff. The restuarant was a little hot as it is west facing but we moved to a table further away from the window and were given sun glasses by the staff which was a nice touch. Fantastic seaview from the restuarant. A very enjoyble expirience. Afterwards we sat outside at the 'Rotunda bar' for a few drinks and watched the evening sunset.

Special treat”
Been before. Location stunning. Love Art Deco. Food excellent, bar staff not so good but adequate. Room small but everything needed was there. Personal preference is a bath not shower but not available. We use hotel as a stopover for visiting Lakes. Very little to do or see in Morecombe

Birthday dinner surprize”
The meal was excellent - but service was a little slow - as dinner took nearly 3 hours ! But as we were not in a hurry - it did not matter. Our room was wonderful - the sea view delightful - only the weather stopped us from enjoying the balcony. Such a pity - hope that next time we will be luckier !

Art Deco Experience in a shabby Town”
Excellent surroundings the hotel should be moved away from Morcombe the Town was Dyer the front is ok but the shops and streets very very shabby and appears derelict in certain parts. Looks very run down..back to the Hotel a jewel on the sea front.

More expensive booking through your site than if we had booked direct via the hotel they told us, so not good value for money from you

One night”
I really like the room, the ingenuity of design, the fixtures and fittings. On closer inspection I was disappointed by attention to detail. In the bathroom the shower water pressure was low, the grout was dirty with mildew, the light bulb had blown at the make-up desk – so I had to get ready in a steamy bathroom (not good!). At breakfast the food was of a great standard, but the staff were un attentive and looked like they wanted to go home. I had to ask for replacement plates, for a bowl for my cereal etc. I know they are only little things, but when addressed could give this hotel the edge it deserves. Generally it needs a good clean inside and out!
