A comfortable hotel close to the Tube.”
We had a very pleasant stay at the Montana Hotel. It was easy to find from the Gloucester Tube station, located in a row of nicely maintained terrace buildings. The room size was bigger than I expected and the bed was comfortable. The staff cleaned and made up our room every day. We dined in the Indian restaurant on site on our first evening and the food was delicious. Breakfast is simple, being a selection of cereals, stewed fruit, yogurt and toast, with tea and coffee, but this was adequate for us. Check in and check out went without a hitch. We were really happy with the service from this hotel.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, great location”
Older hotel that's been remodeled. Only thing we saw that needed fixed was a large hole in one of the curtain panels that made the room look shabby and one of the ceiling panels needed replaced. The room was very clean & large enough to accommodate the three of us. It had a small refrigerator and a safe which was nice. All the staff we came into contact with were very pleasant and helpful. The Montana is very close to the Glouchester Tube station, which we used to get around the city while we were there (Just half a block away, if that). We would definitely stay at The Montana again in the future.

Room Good For Solo Traveller ”
I am a frequent traveller to London and always stay around the vicinity of Gloucester Road Station. I would say this is one of the value for money hotel for a solo traveller. With good location, cleanliness and friendly staffs, I will sure come back to Montana Hotel again in the near future.

Exceptional”
The 'double room' although small, was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a safe and a fridge (unstocked) inthe room. The bath/shower, WC. Room was surprisingly large and very clean, with plenty of towels. The restaurant is really nice and the staff pleasant and attentive. The Montana hotel, is about 50mtrs from Glouster road underground station and with many interesting places to visit nearby, it's very good value for money.

Clean, quiet, perfect location”
South Kensington is the perfect place to stay when visiting London. The Montana Hotel is steps away from the Underground (metro), making it easy to get into the city and to all landmarks. The staff is very nice and accomodating as well.

I stayed in one of the small single rooms, but the room is well set out so it doesn’t feel too small - there is also a large window so it is filled with light. Rooms were warm and clean and comfortable. Room was also nicely serviced daily. The facilities for this room was shared, but they were always available when I wanted to use them. Products were nice and the bathrooms were spotless. Montana is in easy walking distance of the museums. It is across the road from the tube in 3 lines. Good selection of eateries nearby too. I would definitely stay here again.

A strategically located hotel”
Spent two nights here in a quadruple room with my parents and sister when we visited London in late April 2017. It is strategically located in close proximity to Metro and walking distance to Tesco Express, Waitrose and a few fast food chain restaurants. The room is smaller than imagine but clean and with all the basic amenities as per booking description, i.e. bathroom with bathtub, free WiFi and more. The price is reasonable due to its close proximity to Metro as well as with bathtub. If you have lot of luggage bags and/or travel with small kid/ elderly, this hotel may not be the ideal choice for you and/or your family as you will need to carry your luggage up a staircase with a few steps to the hotel's lobby and the room is quite small. I am not sure i will stay again though the location is ideal because the hotel is not cheap and the room is quite small.

excellent choice”
We had booked a room for 4 as we are a family with 2 young kids (3.5 & 6.5 years old). During our arrival we were told that we were to stay in a huge room in the basement with window to a small inner courtyard. We asked to be moved to a higher floor room with a nicer view. Since that night there was no availability, they offered to move us to another room the next morning, which we accepted. The new room was smaller than the first one but still super comfortable for a family of four. and had an excellent view to the road below. The location was the best for all 4 of us getting around as it is less than 50m to Gloucester Road station. Breakfast was included in the price (buffet) and it had a great variety for all of us. The only thing I would suggest is that beds should be covered in duvets and duvets covers. Currently they have blankets and bed-covers which I think are not washed every time a client goes and a new one enters. I did not see any stain or something similar though.

Quick trip away”
We booked at the last minute, and were very pleased with our stay. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The room was one of the recently refurbished ones on the lower ground floor. It was spacious, clean and had enough light. We going to go back to central London to eat, but in the end went into the attached restaurant, where once again the staff were lovely and the food was good

Covenient for solo traveller”
Indian restaurant next door was a plus. The negative to my stay was when i checked in on the day of my stay i paid for breakfast for the next morning. So my total bill was paid straight away before i even went to my room. The next morning after having breakfast i checked out by leaving key with staff and saying goodbye. I was then outside walking down the street when a staff member ran after me saying i have not paid for breakfast. So feeling embarassed by the accusation in front of public i returned to the hotel. I explained that i paid when i checked in. But was told they have no record on their computer that i have. So i pulled out from my wallet a receipt of payment for my breakfast. At that they were satisfied it was their mistake and i was free to go. However i did not receive any apology for embarrassing me in the street which is very unprofessional. I left them with their miserable faces rather than a smile . This along with other concerns about staff is no more than 3 star.

The hotel is in an excellent central position . All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast very nice with plenty of choices and drink refills. Would definitely use again if going to this area of London.

Very well located within 1 minute of tube station. The price was good value and the check in was quick. Wi-fi worked well in the room, which was a good size by London standards. Breakfast was basic, but fine - cereal, tea & toast. For a modest charge you can pay for an English Breakfast. Very clean and met all my expectations. Will stay here again.

Wonderful hotel and staff ”
The staff and hotel were great but renovations were going on at the time of our stay. Smell was unpleasant so we did not spend much time at the hotel. There are two other businesses close that we frequented, The Polo Bar and The Jam Cupboard that were superb.The tube system was close by for convenience of getting to our destinations while in London.

I must say, Mr aneel on the frontdesk was exceptionally world class! He sorted out my room because of Agoda overselling the hotel room which was not available and Aneel arranged for our comfort with the kids even BEFORE i check in plus a complimentary breakfast for Agoda's mistake. I am very impressed and will certainly come back if in town.

Stay in Montana Hotel was alright. However, it is very strategically located near to the Glouchester Tube which is a big thing if you plan to travel around London hassle free without bother about money issue.

Lovely Hotel”
Lovely hotel rooms done very nice! Only annoying part was the cleaner in the morning knocking on more than one occasion after being told no! Mind you this was after 10am! Also early check in time of 1pm was a big plus point for the hotel.
