Clean and quiet”
This place is not so far from the city centre. Very friendly staff. The room I was staying in was facing the street but it was pretty quiet at night due to double glazed windows. It has a cafe downstairs and the serve pretty good coffee, both Viet and Western style. They also serve a very simple but delicious noodle soup. There are few local restaurants in walking distance which makes this place perfect.

Really nice hotel in district 1”
The staff here are really friendly and help you out even though theres an English barrier. I left my washed clothes on the balcony to dry and I was away for the day and it rained I was scared they would've got soaked but, they bought them in an folded them nicely for me. The only thing I didn't like was this was a little out the ways in discrict 1 but that's a good thing too because the center can get real loud . I had no problem sleeping here and everything was clean. Would definitely recommend

nice little place to stay, nice hosts”
Nice place to stay for a few days. I stayed for one day while I was looking for a new flat. The rooms are relatively new, very clean and easy check in and check out. Location is easy walking distance to shops and cafes. Big surprise was the afternoon I checked in, I walked downstairs to where the cafe is and asked the hostess if she sold food, she said no, but since she was cooking, offered me dinner: chicken, rice, vegetables, very tasty and very hospitable!

this hotel has two locations within 100meters. if you are lucky you ll stay where there is a lift. I wasnt so i stayed at the other place and had to carry heavy suitcase two floors up. old ladies at reception dont speak english and they call someone to talk to you if you need something. room is ok and clean except for the occasional cockroach wandering around. location is very good though.

Gorgeous accommodations! Just above a famous little coffee shop also owned by the Nguyens. Couldn't have been cleaner, and the bed was one of the comfiest we slept in while in Vietnam. This place is brand spanking new, which is why there aren't many reviews, search Agoda for 'The Nguyens Cafe NHC', which is right next door and is their first property to get a good idea of the great people running the hotel. Absolutely beautiful room and balcony, great neighbourhood, helpful family, excellent coffee, would recommend to anyone!

Good coffee. Good clean room, nice view of Pink Church. All of the little details mentioned by others about hot water, air con, lack of elevator have been addressed. There’s an elevator. Hot water fine, Air Con great. Great local food nearby, you need to travel to get to the expat hangouts. Lovely owners, there when needed and gone when not. Daily cleaning is NOT automatic, but no trouble if you ask. I will be back.

Nice private space in the city”
This is more like a private room than a hotelroom. Arrived at 11 pm and because of roadwork, rain and closed shops, diificult to find in a dark alley. But having found the doorbell all changed for the best. The owner, an australian born vietnamese, made us comfortable immediately. Excellent room without noise but still in the centre at the pink church. You get your own entry card for the gate and at daytime all the shops are open. From here we made several trips. We had a great stad for 2 nights.

Great stay in Saigon”
After having problems with our other accommodations, we decided upon staying at The Nguyen’s Cafe. It was a great choice and we had a wonderful stay. The room was modern and very clean, with all of the basic amenities you’d need in a place. The location is in the corner of district 1 a bit further from main tourist attractions but still close. The service was outstanding, the owner of the place Ben is very helpful and friendly. He gave us some great recommendations and was very responsive to any comments or concerns. We didn’t ask him too many questions but you can tell that he really goes above and beyond for his guests. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Saigon!

There is very near to the pink church~ However, still have some distance with the city area but luckily there are very convenient with grabs in Vietnam! A restaurant nearby this apartment is very popular and the taste was very nice! Overall is good. Recommended!

4 nights in Saigon”
I choose Nguyen's Café DCT for my stay in HCMC. I usually stay in a hotel, but I decided to give this smaller property a try, based on the favorable guest reviews. I was not disappointed, but I was also not overly impressed. Pros: Staff -- Sue is great! She is extremely friendly and helpful. That being said, you have to track her down when you need her. It isn't difficult to reach her, but I'm used to staying in hotels, where staff is readily available, almost any time you need them. I was able to reach Sue, through messages and phone calls, without much of a problem Value -- I felt that the accommodation was reasonably priced Cons: Location-- for me, the places I wanted to go to (bars, restaurants, etc. were a bit of a walk from the property. I typically had to hire transportation, to/from wherever I went) Facilities -- this is a small property. 5 floors, 2 rooms/floor. It was clean, but you had to contact Sue if you wanted your room cleaned. Laundry service was available, but I was disappointed with the result. There is also a lack of hot water, so be prepared for very cold showers if you decide to stay here!

The hotel and rooms felt like a big house with elevator. Room is roomy, the building is new, the cleanliness is very good. Would suggest this if you don't need to be in the middle of the city; therefore could save some budget and desire a really nice bedroom.
