Quiet Place to Relax”
The Peacock Garden Inn is located upon the top of a hillside. The good, it's secluded. The bad, it's secluded. Depending on what you are looking for this may or not be the place for you. If you want peace and quiet with the boutique kind of feel then this is definitely the place to be. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a balcony we could sit down and relax on. The bed has a memory foam topper which definitely made it comfortable but maybe too squishy for back sleepers. It took a little while for the hot water to flow into the bath but definitely not a show stopper. Having a seating area and a desk were also nice amenities. You can't really utilize the refrigerator to store items you may have brought because it is filled with items for purchase. The staff from reception to cleaners were super friendly and accommodating. We were able to avail of pre-planned tours and were able to customize tours as well. They can also purchase your ferry tickets if you need them to for a small fee. All meals are cooked to order so if you are in a hurry to go somewhere don't order a meal unless you have at least an hour or so before you need to leave just to make sure you can eat properly. We had a massage at the spa which was decently priced compared to what resorts normally charge. We definitely felt relaxed and well taken care of. There is nothing within walking distance so be sure to take care of picking up things before you come over. Most if not all tours are with a private car so you may be paying a premium for that convenience and tour guide. Overall, I would recommend this place if you want a quiet and relaxing place to stay. I've stayed at the beach resorts on Panglao Island as well and for the price, the Peacock Garden Inn is the best value.

Secluded Getaway, Beautiful Rooms and Sea View”
we had an outstanding stay at the peacock garden. several friends recommended it to us and they were absolutely right - it's a relaxing hotel and a true stand-out in bohol. i ordered a birthday cake for my husband and requested all of our sightseeing tours in advance. when we arrived at the hotel they had everything exactly right and re-confirmed it with us upon check-in. (they even set up a special table for us for my husband's birthday.) the breakfast buffet was better than we expected and had many good options. the german restaurant seemed pretty authentic and we enjoyed everything we ordered. the manager is also german and greeted us at every dinner. you could tell that he really cares and puts his personal touch into the resort. i had an outstanding massage and facial at the spa -- definitely recommended. the bathroom in our room was marble and impeccably clean, along with the rest of our room. the only hesitations one would have about staying here are if you you have to be on the beach or if you are out to save money. (i wouldn't come here on a tight budget, because it's a place to pamper and splurge...) the infinity pool was gorgeous and really set the mood. my only criticism of the pool is that the jacuzzi could have been hotter... but then, i have yet to encounter a truly hot jacuzzi in the philippines... overall, an outstanding, relaxing stay!

Beautiful resort away from the hustle & bustle of Panglao”
After staying with friends for a week in Panglao/Alona Beach, I escaped to The Peacock Garden for 4 days of R&R. It's a beautiful resort up on the hill, with great views of the jungle below and the Bohol Sea. Check-in was welcoming and very friendly. The room was absolutely lovely and very comfortable. The bed and pillows were heavenly to sleep in. The resort grounds were so relaxing and peaceful - the massive infinity pool overlooking the Bohol Sea was amazing! Did a 3 hour treatment at the Spa and it was excellent. The daily buffet breakfast was excellent, and the staff are so attentive and so, so friendly, Can't say good enough things about the staff! They were amazing. They offer a shuttle to Island City Mall in Taglibaran CIty daily which is great if you want to get off the property. And the airport pick-up and drop-off is a nice inclusion. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Proud as a Peacock.”
The Peacock Gardens is a 5-Star resort for a reason. Their services and facilities are top notch, excellent for any part of the world, but especially nice considering it is found in the Philippines. There is really no reason to leave the facility if you do not want to, as they offer all you would need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday away from the world for a while. The spa is World Class and extremely cheap for the level of service. The same level of service in the US would cost 5 to 10 times as much. There is a price list in the room, so you can see for yourself the prices. Although they are expensive for the Philippines, the service level is higher than you will find elsewhere. They offer the finest pool I have seen in the world. It is a large and beautiful infinity pool on a hillside overlooking the Philippine Sea and Pamilican Island. Breathtaking. They have general entertainment like ping pong, foosball and billiards for free. They have a disco on premises and they offer Karaoke there as well. The wine list is extensive and the spirits offered are varied and high quality. The food Is expensive for the Philippines. About half of what it would be in the US for the same quality. The drinks are about the same as the US. The food is excellent and the breakfast buffet is a good variety with decent food, as good as a buffet can be, not a fan of buffets. The sightseeing opportunities are not priced to make the facility much money, as they seem to charge little more than the prices offered by the independent operators in the area. They do not offer rentals of vehicles, however, which is nice in a remote location such as theirs. They offered free pick-up and drop off in a comfortable vehicle and served us well throughout the visit. The only drawback was the bed. It was extremely firm, which some may enjoy, but I did not.

A different Bohol experience”
I would like to commend the staff for going their extra mile. I did not confirm my transfer arrangement with the hotel since I have already rented a car for our Bohol tour. On the day of our arrival/booking date at Peacock Garden, the hotel staff called me and confirmed if I have travel arrangements. Also, its also good that they do last calls for their guests who haven't dined yet. The view and the infinity pool is also breathtakingly beautiful. The room is clean & has comfy beds though it has hints of aging already. Peacock Garden has also a wide array of antique collections ranging from Jose Rizal's chair, stunning chandelier in Old Heidelberg dining room, to a bottle of wine dated 1826. The place though is far from the beach, very secluded, ideal for romantic dates and relaxing getaways.

More than 5 stars! Our new favourite hotel!”
Everything in this hotel is superb! They have exceeded all our expectations! Food was so delicious! Staffs are very friendly and customer-oriented. The swimming pool was amazing and clean. Lifeguard is attentive too! We celebrated my son's birthday in this hotel, the hotel staff decorated the room and even provided a surprise birthday cake while we were having dinner! A must place to stay in Bohol especially if you prefer a quiet, not crowded, special environment. We will surely come back. Thank you Peacock Garden Hotel!

Nice Place to Stay in Bohol”
Pros: Staff are very kind and helpful. Room was very nice, and pool was too. Breakfast was free and delicious. They provide free drop off an pick up to/from Alona, but only at 2:30pm and 6pm Cons: Not much to do around the hotel and area Not exactly a cheap choice Tips: Book a countryside tour once you get a free shuttle to Alona. The group tours in Bohol arrive to the hotel late, especially if you are staying at Peacock Garden because it will be the last pick up after the other customers since its closest to the attractions.

Amazing pool!”
I quite enjoyed our stay at the Peacock Garden. It is in the remote area, but we hired a driver during the stay so it was not really an issue for us. I guess it also depends on what you are intending to do in Bohol. Food is well priced as well, we had dinner at the hotel most of the nights and enjoyed everything we had. Though breakfast was a little disappointing. As it is secluded from the busy area, it is quiet, nice and relaxing at the hotel. The view from the pool was amazing, room was clean, I would recommend if you are looking for a relaxing stay!

Got fully recharged here”
If you are seriously looking for a relaxing and peaceful place, away from the crowd, noise and parties of Bohol, this is the place. Their infinity swimming pool is mesmerizing, and truly relaxing just by even staring at it. Its staff members are some of the nicest and most competent you will meet in the hotel industry. They know how to anticipate your needs. Breakfast has great selections. I hope they would offer more massage selections though like a swedish or hot stone because they have an excellent spa. Will certainly come back here. Thank you The Peacock Garden.

Relaxing Getaway”
We had a wonderful time at Peacock garden... The layout of the resort is very relaxing, the trees are refreshing to the eyes and the view of Panglao Island at the infinity pool area is really breathtaking. It was just sad that we weren't able to experience the Spa due to lack of time.... We just wish there are other Restos near the resort... Old Hiedelberg serves good food it's just that prices are a bit high for locals ... We will surely come back if we are given the chance to be back in Bohol again....

Relaxing and Beautiful Hotel”
My best friend and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at The Peacock Garden Hotel. Their services was awesome as you will be picked up at the airport/pier by friendly and accommodating chauffeurs and be greeted with a smile, iced tea, cold towel and warm welcoming as soon as you arrived at the hotel. The place is very clean and beautiful inside out. It is a very peaceful, romantic and relaxing place and is great for honeymooners and couples. The check out time is 12PM but they let me stay until 2:30PM with no extra charge since my flight is at 4:30PM. Now, that's what I call great service. I will definitely go back there and I'm planning to make The Peacock Garden Hotel as my yearly retreat.

Comfortable, relaxing and immensely enjoyable!”
We had a great stay at The Peacock Garden. Our room was large and comfortable and had a great view. The staff was exceptional, friendly and warm and even carried around our toddler, entertaining her all the time. The hotel is situated on a great property and has a fabulous infinity pool, overlooking a lush forest and opening out to the sea. We would definitely recommend this place and re-visit the next time we are in Bohol.

We liked it so much, we extended our stay!”
We were on our honeymoon and traveling around Philippines. Our original intention was to stay a night or two at The Peacock Garden and then move to another hotel on the island. However, we felt so comfortable and relaxed that we didn't want to leave and booked an additional two nights here before leaving Bohol. Everything was top notch, brand new. Also the staff and location and really everything is great about this hotel. We will return!

Best experience of Philippines trip”
On our first trip to Philippines, we stayed at Manila, Bohol and Cebu. At Manila and Cebu, we stayed at 5 star hotels but for Bohol, we stayed at Peacock. It was our best experience out of 3 places with a great property, infinity pool, serene surroundings, quiet and peaceful environment. The pool is great for everyone overlooking ocean. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. We had dinner in the outside gazebo which was amazing. Another HIGHLIGHT of the stay was FOOD. Starting from Buffet, everything was cooked fresh and delicious. The German Chef also cooked delicious Indian chicken curry, Daal and Aloo-palak with naan on special request... which was sooo delicious. He has many years of experience and he takes great pride in his kitchen and cooking. If and when we come back to Bohol, this is the place we are going to stay!

Lovely hotel with friendly staff and excellent spa”
we chose to stay at the peacock garden because the other high-end hotels in bohol were at least twice as expensive per night. the resort did not disappoint, with an excellent infinity pool, a great roman-themed spa, a decent german restaurant, and staff that's willing to go the extra mile. while far from the main tourist area (peacock garden is in baclayon, which is a half-hour drive away from panglao), the front desk helped us book different tour activities every day to make the most of our stay in bohol. highly recommended for flash packers and families with a sensible budget.

Peacock Garden Luxury Resort & Spa”
We went to Panglao Island in Bohol Philippines on the Chinese New Year week knowing that Boracay Beach would be crowded with locals and tourist alike. We initialy booked at a five star boutique hotel in Panglao Island but decided to try Peacock Resort for the fraction of the cost and we are not dissappointed. We are looking for seclusion and privacy which the hotel provided. Bonus is their amazing infinity pool on a cliff with majestic view of the pacific ocean. Its family own and operated so dont expect polish and sophisticated staff but they are very charming, pleasant with genuine kindness seen with local native filipinos...Big surprise is their restaurant adorned with original european antiques and collectibles..food is excellent of course with touch of german and filipino cuisine..I will definitely come back here. Ideal for honeymooners and couples looking for privacy and seclusion.
