Excellent Location and Hotel”
We spent 5 nights at The Point Hotel and Suites in a one bedroom suite. It was very clean, our room was serviced daily and convenient to Universal Theme Parks! We stopped for Groceries before getting to the hotel, which made for a smooth, easy and enjoyable Full Kitchen Suite experience! Allowing us the convenience of eating, snacking when we wanted and enjoying every moment of our experience in Orlando! The shuttle service to Universal was on time and although you are within walking distance to the Universal Parks, this service was welcoming at the end of each day at the park, when your tired of and just want to get back to the Hotel to relax. The Point staff were welcoming, happy and always greeted us with a smile and "how was your day"! Thank you for a enjoyable and stress free stay!

July 2017 Stay”
My family and I spent five nights at the Point Orlando Resort. On arrival I was impressed by the cleanliness of the modern lobby area and exterior of the hotel. This was matched by the experience we had with the room, which was well equipped and comfortable. Free parking was also a huge advantage over other hotels. The best part of our visit were the staff who were exceedingly helpful and courteous. The concierge Racquel was a huge benefit in organising all of our activities and day trips. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel, which I found to be great value for money.

Great value for money”
We stayed here for 7 nights (3 adults). The one bedroom suite was great, and had everything we needed including a washing machine and dryer. The spa bath was appreciated after a long day walking at the theme parks. The pool area was lovely. The hotel offers complementary shuttles to Disney and Universal. It's about a 10 minute walk to International Drive. We would definitely stay there again.

One night stopover in Orlando ”
Stayed at the Point just for one night after two weeks on the Gulf Coast. Very welcoming staff. Hotel in a nice quiet location but near to International Drive. Room lovely with good views. Pool lovely and clean, plenty of sun beds and towels provided. Hotel recommended.

Exceptional”
Had a problem on check-in as the booking details the hotel had received from Agoda (via booking.com) did not reflect the fact we had booked a TWO bedroom de luxe suite, only a ONE bed. Reception staff went to a lot of trouble to sort this out, as we could show them the voucher issued by Agoda confirming 2-bed. However, excellent price through Agoda

Our one bed apartment was excellent - clean, comfortable and well equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were disappointed with the pool area. No sun umbrellas, so very hot and not enough sunbeds. Also, music was blaring out from about 9.15 am until 11 pm - horrible! Whole pool area should be bigger for number of guests in resort.

Its the third time weve stayed here and we have never had a probelm.the place is very clean the staff are very helpful and its position just of i drive is excellent.the pool is spotless and never busy and the bar by the the pool is excellent

Amazing experience ”
I have to say that our experience was phenomenal! The rooms are very well equipped, updated and spacious; Not to mention ... Although in our stay the hotel had a inconvenience with a broken pipe that left us without water for a couple of hours, all its employees were very aware of all their tenants. Thank you to the Manager of the Hotel and to the Mamager of drinks for their great service.

Great value, great location, but beware of PAPER THIN WALLS...”
My sister and I stated there for 6 nights. Pros : -The room was very spacious ,we loved that there is living area in the room with a comfy couch. -You can rent a laundry room in the hotel ($15 for 2 hours, incl a little box of powder laundry detergent that i used for 2 loads). maybe not be the cheapest but very convenient. -Great location, 10 mins walk to IHOP ,Walgreen. -Friendly staff. Cons: Paper thin walls. The walls are SO thin you can hear people sneeze in the hallway, literally. I was awakened every morning by the noise of doors closing or staff/ other hotel guess talking in the hallway (they didn't speak loud, but the walls are just sooooo thin...). Also, my room is right by the pool(the window by the bed is facing the pool), the poolside bar starts playing music from 9am everyday, which is very loud, even when I was in the bathroom that is at the other end of the room, with the door closed, I can still hear the music...

Service so impeccable makes you wish the entire world was run like the Point at Orlando staff. ”
The cleanliness of the rooms were a start, but I couldn't help but to constantly take notice of the courtesy and professionalism of the entire staff. It just stood out, it just made you feel good anytime you came in contact with any of them for any reason at all. You walked away with a smile really feeling like wow, I'm on vacation!!!!

Great room, but bar/grill disappointing”
Cons: At check-in I was told that I needed to pay an additional tax/fee for extras like parking and the shuttle. I could not see that anywhere in my paperwork from Agoda, whom I booked the hotel through. I showed the p’work to the staff member and I didn’t have to pay it. I don’t understand why this tax/fee exists and also why it isn’t embedded in the rate of the room when the customer is booking the room online. The bar/grill was disappointing in comparison to how it was described online. It’s just a hut with bar seats around it where you can order drinks poolside and just bar-type meals/snacks. I expected more of a restaurant. They were out of fish-the one meal I wanted, so ended up going for a walk and went to a restaurant for dinner. There isn’t much around the hotel site- no food outlets/shops. There are a few restaurants and a service station about a 10 min walk away. Earlier shuttle in the morn. didn’t arrive. Pros: The room was great. Spacious, modern and clean.

Bedroom , kitchen , living room ... Excellent . I didn't even want to go out just wanted to relax in a room all day.Cleaning lady was so nice also. Staffs at a lobby were so friendly. Pool was lovely. Parking lot here was too pack. This was my 1st time ever of parking car on grass hotel area :) nice experience

The address says Universal Blvd and International Drive. Unfortunately i was very much disappointed not being on International drive as expected. I need a room, a nice stay on International drive and was expecting nothing less. I was expecting what i paid for.

Pleasant Beautiful Staff!!! EVERYONE!!”
Everything, I just can't say enough about my entire experience. The staff from the concierge, to the desk staff, to the busboy, to the restaurant workers, to the maintenance guy, everyone was just a delight my entire eight days there. Been around the world, basically have not experienced such a delightful atmosphere in my entire life! 10 Stars!

The overall hotel stay was great except that there is no wireless wifi so will either need to be wired to the cable in the room or go to the lobby where there is wireless wifi.

Too expensive ”
Breakfast needs to be included or prices at a reasonable rate per person. $12 per person, including children, is a terrible value. We watched so many families come down for breakfast and get upset at how expensive it was. Coffee needs to be brewed and made available in the lobby 24/7 at no cost. Ice machines on the floors would be nice, instead of having to go to the restaurant on the main floor for ice. The fitness center needs more amenities for the money. Bedding for pull out sofas were not in the rooms and had to be requested. Local restaurants that offer delivery needs to be made available to guests.

Didn't appreciate the extra charge at check-in when I had already paid Agoda for our stay. The hot tub was not nearly hot enough. One night there was a party in the hot tub & security didn't address it. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay.
