Very good”
Lovely location with fantastic views. Modern decor, but some of the renovations done on the cheap. Good value though for the location.

Fawlty Towers meets The Shining...in a nice way”
What an interesting place...a cross between Fawlty Towers and the hotel from The Shining....excellent staff, fantastic location...just a little tired. Room was fine and clean, bed comfortable and provisions good, even if the TV was 12" and unviewable unless you sat next to it. My only concern was the shower curtain.....not the curtain itself, or the sparkly pole it hung upon, both magnificent...rather it's reason for existing.... The shower facilty is by way of an extension from the bath taps (missing an indicator - but therefore 50% chance of getting it right). The elegant Victorian style head-like-a-telephone is then placed in a fixed holder at about 6ft...excellent...except the shower head can only then point at the opposite wall to deliver at best a dribble...with both taps a full throttle. Would have been better to dispense with the notion of a shower completely and save the blushes of a pointless and unnecessay shower curtain. P.S....exposed electrics in a bathroom are bad karma at best (see attached), tiles you can look behind to see another world...and a bath grab rail that it is impossible to grab...as the tiles have been placed afterwards ..blocking any chance of getting hold of it.....please spend the night in your own rooms...just once..to see for yourself.
