Great accomodation, great staff, great food, and sunshine.”

Everything, staff very polite and friendly, breakfast great good quality food. We had lunch on our first day this was also fab. Having milk and water in fridge on arrival. Bath room fab. Bedroom very comfortable and the big bed was great we slept very well The apartments are well laid out and each party have their own privacy along with a balcony.
That we had to go home. We loved it!! Nothing else to say. no negatives

Fantastic Apartments with stunning views”

Room was great, it was clean and had all the essentials the view from the room is simply stunning, location is perfect for the beach with just a short walk. All the staff are really friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Breakfast was lovely and staff in the restaurant were really nice and helpful we would definately return for another short break at Salt Lodge Hotel hopefully soon

Great views of the marina & sea, excellent apartment catering for all your needs.”

Stunning apartment with everything that you would need during your stay. I understood these were new prior to booking and the finish and quality was great. Hannah (Reception) was lovely and genuinely wanted to make your stay a fantastic experience. Scott’s is an independent restaurant & the hotel give you a voucher for breakfast. Good was excellent but would definitely recommend you book ahead.
The reception area isn’t well sign posted and I originally thought it was just a shop. Would recommend a sign up to let people know. Not a deal breaker for us as we’ve booked to return at the beginning of next year.

Brilliant stay”

The property was so fresh and clean. Great venue and setting. Our room had an amazing view of the harbour which made it very enjoyable to sit in if you didn’t want to go out. The staff were extremely helpful and printed off lots of menus for various restaurants. Would highly recommend and would love to return again.

Staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast at Scott’s was fantastic and the staff were brilliant. Apartment was so clean and modern with everything you could need. Beautiful views across the harbour. Short walk to the town for restaurants and shops.

The location was lovely, breakfast was exceptional with a large choice to cater for all tastes. The accommodation was fantastic, all the staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. Honestly can’t wait for a chance to go back.

We stayed in the family unit ( Apartment2) and it was just fab- full disabled access and the staff kindly ensured their was a shower chair available as well. exceptionally clean and with lovely linens.

Just a perfect break which was needed.”

As there was COVID restrictions Scott’s Restaurant was closed. Salt Lodge therefore provided us with a breakfast pack which included cereals, fruit, cheese and biscuits, tea, coffee, water. It was more than enough for our stay. The location was perfect, right on the marina overlooking all the boats and yachts. The views were astounding. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The whole experience was very peaceful and tranquil. We can’t wait to return.

Quite simply outstanding.There are not enough adjectives to describe how completely perfect our stay at The Salt Lodge was.Spotless apartment,attentive staff,exceptional views and great food provided by Scotts restaurant.We were down for my husbands 50th and from start to finish the experience was fabulous,thank you to all the staff at both Salt Lodge and Scotts...we will be back !!

Excellent with local produce too. service was 1st class
Dinner reservations should be offered at scotts next door as it is a captive market when booking rooms. This could be done by offering 2 times i.e. 6pm. OR 8.30 as there are only 10 rooms & if not booked at time of reservation then should be handed back to restraunt so it would be a win win situation!

Comfortable, very clean and quiet. Extra space over and above a typical hotel room that makes for a comfortable stay even when weather is not ideal. Good food at neighbouring Scott’s. Perfect last stop in Scotland before heading south.

STUNNING!”

Location was amazing. Gorgeous apartment. Fabulous shower. I LOVED everything about it! Hannah on reception was a darling and made our stay very special....watched the sunrise from 0400 one morning, just stunning!!! Will be back very soon :)
Everything was just perfect! Scotts was closed for breakfast however we were offered vouchers for Lido or a refund for the breakfast :)

Fabulous property and faultless, beautifully clean and check in and check out staff really friendly.
Scots pub was very good however after arriving a few minutes after they had finished serving food was frustrating as nothing else nearby open - just worth bearing in mind.

Very clean and well presented, plus the free bottles of Prosecco for our anniversary was a lovely extra touch❤️ The staff are very polite and very helpful.
Only a small thing, the big air con or refrigerator fans on the side of Scott’s was very loud when our window was open.
