Beds are very old and disappointing. when I moved my partner moved. Breakfast was very poor. Bacon was rubbery as though it had been cooked in a microwave or sitting around under a heat lamp for a long time. Sausage is poor quality and felt as though it had been deep fried. Beans were luke warm. it was supposed to be cooked to order, but didn't fell that way. first coffee wasnt very hot, asked for a second and after 10 minutes gave up waiting and left. Only positive is the staff are pleasent

Not worth the money!”

We booked this hotel as we were attending a wedding at Styal Lodge. When we arrived the room was boiling hot and we had to open all the windows. The radiator in the room was on even though it was a summers day and there was no way of turning it off. We contacted reception but the only thing they could offer was a fan which we tried but made no difference. When we returned to the room late that evening it was still too hot and had to sleep with all the windows open and the noisy fan. The following morning we were woken before 9am by a workman outside our room jet washing the patio area, we gad to shut the windows but still it was too loud to sleep. This continued beyond 12pm when we checked out. We informed reception again of the problems during our stay and was told thanks for letting us know... basically they weren't interested as we had already paid the full balance at the time of booking weeks before!

Could jave done with tea making facillities in the room, as I jad a 6am checkin so had to be up 4..30 and not tea easily available.

Excellent Hotel”

The location of the Stanneylands Hotel is excellent being so close to the airport yet in a very quiet locality. Staff very efficient and friendly. I have only one gripe, the bathroom shower is very poor as the water pressure is too low.

Not easy for airport access”

Taxi from the airport cost 18 pounds!

If you're travelling and want something quiet and a bit more select from the big airport hotel chains, then Stanneyland is a must stay.

Arrived early morning fròm a delayed flight from Spain. Staff most accomodating even though well overdue. Room excellent clean, fresh and great breakfast.... very well priced.

Disappointing”

Disappointing. Car parking had to be booked separately, but this wasn't made clear. Room was not executive. Furniture was tired. Room was noisy. Hotel full so could not be moved. A function taking place and we were given a room right outside the front door so people arriving and departing walked straight passed our window. Music playing until after 1am. Not really restful before our early flight. Hotel staff not very helpful. Wouldn't stay again or recommend to others.

excellent value for miney”

An excellent place to stay if using Manchester airport as access is near and easy. The rooms are clean well-furnished, and stocked. Staff are friendly and helpful. A real bargain compared to many similar hotels in the area.

Perfect experience the staff went out of there way”

Amazing beautiful hotel, very luxurious and inviting. Staff were very friendly and the chefs even made special desserts for me that weren't on the menu as I am a big icecream Sundae person so made them for me specifically. I rate this hotel 10/10.
