From start to finish, our 6 nights at Tamara were incredible. We wanted for nothing and were given the best treatment everywhere we went. The restaurant serviced a wonderful variety with impeccable service, the spa treatments we received were top notch and even our time at the pool was greeted with great service. The amenities kept us well-engaged, yet allowed us the peace and serenity we needed away from our busy work lives. It truly was an amazing experience and one we hope to do again. The coffee was the cherry on top!

My parents were celebrating their 25th anniversary in the midst of COVID. I had originally planned a Europe trip and now, thanks to the travel restrictions in place, I was lost on what to do. I came across Tamara Coorg and the photos looked beautiful as an escape. I booked a package and my parents couldn't be happier. They said the staff was above excellent, the place was BEAUTIFUL and it almost felt like they were in a bubble away from the world. I am so glad I went with Tamara and would highly recommend to anyone! The customer care (Abilash) was super nice and responded quickly to my request to arrange some roses on their bed for the anniversary and provide a cake. They immediately took care of this request and with no extra charges! The only weakness if I had to pick anything is that the food is expensive. However, they themselves mentioned some package options for this too which makes it all worthwhile. I cannot say thank you enough to the team for making my parents' 25th special during these crazy times. I hope to visit myself soon. Thanks Tamara Coorg Team!!

Luxury in the lap of nature for a romantic retreat ”
It’s a must visit property .. We stayed in a suite and it was just breathtaking. The view, the staff, the service, the rooms.. everything was superb. There are activities that are complimentary for the guests like coffee plantation class , trekking , yoga session etc.

Great place nestled in Coorg”
I visited Tamara as a single female traveler and loved every minute of it. It's a great place to go to if you need to take a break from the monotony of city life. The rooms all have a stunning view and it was great to wake up to the sound of birds. They also have various treks and yoga classes if you want to spend some time within the resort. I enjoyed my stay and hopefully will be back again soon.

Not the same experience as before. ”
This was my second visit to Tamara and it felt like I am visiting some other Tamara. Vast differences observed might be due to covid. 1. No complimentary snacks /refreshments available in the room. 2. No special requests undertaken by the management. 3. Due to covid, Spa doesn't manage full body massage and no steam / aroma bath. But prices are same and on complaining they provided just 10% discount. 4. On checking out, as we had to travel for 6-8 hrs on road, requested for jaggery coffee, but staff giving weird reasons to not accept the request. Would request Tamara team to have same experience as 5 years ago. One of the specialities of this resort was making the guest feel special but they have taken away that experience. I would not like to visit this place third time in my life as everything has become money oriented in this resort without giving value experiences.

The property is very beautiful! Offers lovely views and complete privacy. Food was so-so. My one big complaint is the bed. I was in room 114 and the bed was just awful. Woke with a back ache every morning. Other than that, my husband and I had a wonderful time and would go back.
