Accessible and Clean Accommodations in Kensington”
The hotel was close to a Tube station and was practical for us since we needed a place to recharge ourselves after a few hours of extensive walking in the city. The place was safe and the staff was friendly.

Great location”
The hotel is very close to Gloucester St underground (easy access from Heathrow). Also close (easy walk) to the big museums. Close to pub, supermarket, Boots, etc. etc. My room was small but spotlessly clean. All the on-site staff were great. Would happily stay here again.

Nice, clean, quiet street. ”
Nice, clean and great location. And air conditioner :) Just 3min walking to Gloucester Road where the tube and Waitrose supermarket is. Many bus stops around. Just beware no rooms have mini fridge/bar. Only in the reception You will find refreshments.

Well maintained hotel with lift. Single room comfortable and enough room. Added bonus of tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast is fine, nothing cooked but lots of options. Staff friendly and helpful. Handy to food outlets, pub, laundromat and tube. Would recommend and would book again if in London.

Awesome location”
A great hotel for the budget traveler that books early. Most things within walking distance (including the tube) and easy trip to Heathrow. Quaint and simple, but does the trick. The staff were very helpful.

Great value for money”
I frequent London, unless it’s a ridiculously expensive hotel that puts its money towards the upkeep and modernisation of a hotel, I’ve become accustomed to having more “run down” places. These building are OLD after all! But the Kensington is great nonetheless, YOU CANT beat the location for easy access to the underground, a mere 3 minute walk. The room was spacious enough for us 2, considering its central London where box rooms are the common thing. Staff was great and we were able to leave our bags after checkout. Would definitely stay here again as the location and area is superb

Strategic place”
I liked my stay at the hotel. It looks more like a villa than a hotel with only English breakfast available at the premises. Location is it's plus point. Staff, especially Miz was very helpful

Great stay”
Thank you Villa team, really enjoyed my short stay. Good, clean room, early checkin, receptive staff on email, good location and good value for money for a budget/mid priced hotel. What more do you want in a city that has lots of subpar hotels! I'll definitely be back if I visit again. Thank you.

Perfect”
This was such great hotel. We were so close to the little bars and museums. Rooms were big and the price was amazing! The staff were also so helpful and accommodating.

Excellent”
The room and bathroom is clean. It looks as if the bathroom has just been upgraded. I like the location that it is only less than 5 minutes walk from Gloucester Road tube station, which is Zone 1 and serves 3 main underground lines (District, Picaddily that goes direct to all Heathrow airport terminals) and it is a relatively safe neighbourhood, in my opinion. Villa Kensington is just facing Holiday Inn Hotel, a major hotel player in the market. The only downside, which doesn't bother me much, is that there is lack of space to put and open my luggage. The space is limited that if I leave my big luggage open, it will block the door opening and my safe evacuation if there is any incident. Therefore, I have to keep my luggage closed and upright most of the time. There is still space to leave carry-on luggage open. I booked this room with the thought I won't be spending a lot of time in it, and it's only to sleep.

Excellent”
Went to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall and stayed at the Villa Kensington rather than travel back the same night. Staff friendly. Everything clean. Fairly compact. Bed firmer than I prefer. (I don't weigh much.) Fairly quiet even facing the street. (It's a quiet street.) Everything I needed for one night.

Nice clean basic accommodation ”
Stayed for a night when meeting friends in London. Had a comfortable stay and felt safe as a solo traveller. A little noisy in the night as room was near the lift, but didn’t affect the stay. Would recommend if on a budget.
