Amazing hotel!”
Nice place to relax. It’s quite pricey though, and food is expensive too. But everything is perfect and the staff are courteous and helpful.

Heritage home ”
Rooms and bathrooms are big. But needs further cleanings, especially the towels and sheets. The hotel is a heritage house and really looks like one, with some interesting memorabilia pieces. I’m just very particular with cleanliness. It really has to be maintained well for a more comfortable stay. Staff are very helpful. :)

A Heritage Hotel in Bacolod City”
The main hotel is very nice... nostalgic and cozy. My only issue is that I was roomed at the ajacent newly created building.

Too much expectations (Location was Superb tho)”
I booked a room with shared bathroom here for 6 days thru Agoda. The Bathroom was small. It has separated Shower room and cubicle. The Shower room is small and they have a heater so it was good. While the cubicle was small, they don't have flush and they don't have a running tap water. So if it is call of Nature, you have to get fill the "timba" from the Shower room and carry it to the cubicle. And there was no notice that their water line is irregular. Sometimes they have water, at times they don't. In our 2nd day of stay, there was a foreign guest that used the cubicle. Since there was no water, he left a huge surprise in the toilet bowl. Wow, I felt like I was a custodian engineer "Janitor". There was no choice for me, but to fill the "timba" with water then use it as a flush, I had no choice as I was also in a dire need to use the cubicle. The location is superb. The staff was very accommodating and nice. They have a guards 24/7 For the price, there are many others out there.

Above average”
I didn't get to stay at the house itself; only in like a spare shed near the gate. I wish the staff paid attention on telling me more about the house so I can appreciate it more. I didn't know if my booking has breakfast or not. It'a just disappointing

Passable”
Basic, a bit charming, it was ok...nothing super special

Dated”
Be warned the photos on their website are old photos. Nothing stately about it. I had the impression that we were going to stay at an ancestral home turned into a B & B. This place is more suited for backpackers. I suppose for the price it is best suited for those not looking for any other amenities but a bed to sleep in.

Need refurbishment/make over”
The house is too old. The elegance it holds is fading away. Management should at least maintain the cleanliness. Breakfast is okay, plated and not much choices.

Will definitely be back! ”
The house is a a bit old but stylish. Nagstay kami ng one night sa 1st Floor because of our 2 days trip in Bacolod. Nakakabitin ang stay namin dito. I forgot her name pero nagrant nya ung request kong lipat kami ng room so thank you . Spacious ang room at comfy ang bed. Sobrang bait ng staff, approachable at very accomodating. Over all we enjoyed our stay in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

IT'S LIKE LIVING IN A MINI-MANSION”
Technically White House is more of a b&b and not a hotel. We have been to this house when it was still a museum (the 2nd floor is still like a mini-museum w/ 50's style furnishing, B&W photos of the family who lived here and even old TV sets. We loved the place and it was comfortable and clean. We stayed in a family room at the ground floor since my husband is a PWD and this is convenient. We felt more like houseguests. The staff was friendly but not very efficient - but this is a holiday and we are in relax mode, so it's ok. The breakfast was ok and you can choose from Filipino breakfast style w/ fried rice, eggs and a choice of tapa, longganisa, bangus etc. They have a very nice driver that you can contract to go around Bacolod to see Silay's ancestral homes and the Hot Springs up in the mountain. Bacolod people are as sweet as the sugar they produce, we had a nice holiday and we will definitely return to White House Hotel.

Exceptional”
There were six of us, with 2 elderly, and we all loved this charming hotel. We initially just wanted to stay here for a night, but ended up staying for two . The room was huge; the beds and blankets were very comfy; the AC and water heater were working perfectly. I recommend this to those traveling in groups and/or traveling with some elderly. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Bacolod.

Pleasant Surprise”
First, the staff where the highlight of my stay! Vince kindly offered me a tour and Elaine made sure I had everything I needed. The hotel is actually the stately former residence of a distinguished Bacolod family. This fact lends the place a unique charm and warmth unlike any hotel. The hotel is conveniently located in close proximity of both the pier and North Ceres bus terminal (rode my bike from here) and centrally located smack dab in the middle of the city. I chose this place on short notice after only a cursory review of the website, but was very pleased with my stay. Some room renovation adjacent to where I stayed was the only downside. Would definitely visit again and was a bargain for the quality and experience.

Awesome stay! ”
We were booked here for 4 nights and we had an awesome time. The staffs were really friendly and had always attended to our needs and requests. The location is just right for the kind of activities we did. We felt right at home. The tapa breakfast was awesome! We will book here again if we come back to Bacolod 😊

IG-Worthy and Value-for-money. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”
My friend and I booked a room here for 2 nights. We didn't expect the room to be as big as it was and the bathroom is modern and well-kept. I highly recommend this simple yet complete accomodation for travelers to Bacolod who are on a budget. The place itself is very IG-worthy (a definite plus) and we always felt safe and welcomed.
