Highly recommend! ”

We booked to stay in Thu Bon Riverside for 2 days but it was so amazing that we decided to extended our stay! The room was very spacious with a huge balcony facing the river! The scenery was perfect and romantic! The family that owns the Homestay is very welcome, always smiling and willing to help you with everything!! They also cook amazing breakfast!! Close to Hoi An ancient town and in a calm neighbourhood! Highlight the road by the river from the hotel to the city centre! Highly recommend! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

Homestay located on island that little outside of Hoi An. My superia room has terrace and nice river and garden view, you can walk or ride bicycle (rent for 20000 vnd per day) for 1 km cross bridge to Hoi An old town. If you walk may be far but you can come back by Taxi for 25000 vnd. Very clean room, new built,owner are very friendly they offered many options such as private taxi, local taxi, minibus or local bus go to Danang that reasonable price and not charge. They booked train ticket from Danang to Hue in real price for sure you have seat.Price include ticket fare(68000 vnd/seat), reserved fare(30000 vnd/ seat:train station recieved money) and transfer ticket price(10000 vnd for all seat). It was comfortable for you.Family owner try to help you every thing that you want, their food are delicious and low price more than other restaurants, I ordered breakfast and dinner with them.It is very good for me for one meal in Vietnam, I like their Vietnamese taste.Very good homestay I recommend you to stay.

My best stay in Asia”

We stayed here for 3 nights and everything was perfect. We arrived late because our bus was delayed and the owner upgraded our room for a wonderful one with a balcony across the river since we couldn't sleep there the first night. Everybody there was so helpful and helped us a lot to arrange our trip in Hoi An. I can only recommend the place in you want to meet the loveliest people ever. Thank you for everything !

A wonderful host family. we were upgraded to a room with a view at no extra charge. also were invited to the new year celebratory family meal. special vegetarian food was prepared for us. The room was open spacious with an amazing view. breakfast was delicious. we easily walked to the ancient city.a blissful few days .thank you

Nice place and people”

It is a great location, quiet neighborhood on the river and one can walk to old city, though we alternated with bicycle and taxi, walking twice. The staff is very kind and helpful. Free breakfast was included, on our deck or hotel patio. Great stay!

Exceptional”

Everything was excellent. It is quiet and 1.5 km from the old town which is what I wanted. We had a lovely room with balcony overlooking the river. They also let us use their bicycles for free. Lovely family. My only complaint would be the internet. There were times I could not stream Netflix.

We visited in November and were made very welcome by the family, they were extremely helpful and the free use of the bicycles was greatly appreciated. The room was great and the breakfast sets you up for the day . highly recommended !

Disappointing. Poor location. Extra charges.”

I think this is an extremely overrated homestay. It is located WAY out of town, far beyond comfortable walking distance. Bicycles are provided but charged extra at a daily rate that is much higher than the average rate around town. You cannot walk into the town for dinner, for example, and there are no shops or services in the surrounding area. I booked the deluxe room but was given the superior, despite booking a five night stay in advance. When the deluxe room became available I asked to transfer to it but was told it had been given away again, to walk ins. There are no wardrobes or cupboards in the room- you stack your clothes and belongings on the floor. I had to ask for new towels by my third night, room turnover is not part of the service. My booking clearly stated that breakfast was included, but I was told on the third morning that it wasn't included and that I would have to pay for it (eventually it was taken of my bill - but the coffee that came with it wasn't! again, bear in mind there is nowhere in the vicinity to choose an alternative and no tea and coffee making facilities in the room). Limited hot water, mine lasted about 60 seconds each morning. It was a quiet place and my stay was comfortable in general, but service, communication and most especially location are real disadvantages here.

Very friendly family, the balcony and breakfast area are very nice and comfortable to sit and watch the river and stars at night. They organized a good and cheap scooter for us to get to Hue.

This little homestay is almost perfect in my opinion. It goes beyond values for the money in nearly every catagory. From the clenliness, river view, quietness, proximity to the ancient town and the friendliness of the family members who run this place. Thank you all for the peace and kindness during my week - long stay there . I highly recommend Thu Bon!

I stayed more than 10 days and my stay was great. Tinh received me very well and everything I needed help with, she solved it super fast. Comfortable room, good bathroom, hot water. I super recommend.

All basic amenities covered. Nice, quiet and clean. Happy to help. It's a little way to the old city however motorbikes available. Great views of the river.

Notre séjour s'est très bien passé. Famille adorable prête à rendre service à tout moment. Les petits déjeuners sont variés. Lieu très agréable qui détend. Très très propre. Nous ne regrettons rien.

Ich habe mich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Es wurde mir unkompliziert bei Buchungen geholfen. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse war super. Das Zimmer mit Balkon und Ausblick auf den Fluss war ganz neu und sauber. Da die Unterkunft etwas abseits liegt, ist das kostenlose Fahrrad eine sehr gute Hilfe. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dort buchen. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage!

Het gezin is allervriendelijkst en behulpzaam. In het bijzonder, dochter Xen met haar leuke kleine meid. Ik had een superschone kamer met een groot balkon. Het ontbijt werd geserveerd in de tuin met uitzicht over de rivier. De gratis fietsen hadden geen bel, licht en de remmen waren niet al te best. Maar daar ben je als Hollandse fietser natuurlijk sowieso kritisch op.
