Nice stay at the tiger tree hostel. ”
Bsharre is on a mountain so everything involves walking uphill at some stage! The tiger tree is high up so abit of a trek from the bus stop, but that also means you have a fantastic view. The lady running it is lovely and will answer any questions you have. Breakfast is available and coffee when requested. I had a dorm bed and the room was spotless, the place is cleaned every day. I would certainly stay again. The whole Qadissa valley is beautiful.

Excellent breakfast, good location for walks. Family atmosphere, it is their home too. Bus to Beirut can be arranged to pick up guests at the hotel; no need to go down the big hill to the bus stop.

The room with separate bathroom had very little privacy as the room was only covered with a thin white sheet and glass panel door. Also, there was no sound insulation at all. As a result, we changed for a room with private bathroom. The bed was not properly cleaned, as there were bread crumbs and hair on and under the blanket. The owner was not particularly friendly and did smoke in the common area indoors.

Only stay if you enjoy cigarette smoke”
Lebanon is expensive and this was a good deal in their hotel listings. The only problem (which is major)is that the room has no outside windows. Your window opens to the common room with no less than 12 ashtrays on the tables. We ended up with headaches from the visitor and owners smoking. Couldn't imagine if there were many smoking guests. Politely asked the owner not to smoke next to me and she refused.
