Exceptional”
My initial room was on the second floor and a little run down, but a good enough room for the price and location. The lock fitted on the Japanese sliding door didn't lock very well, so the owner changed my room to a bigger one on the first floor. Atmosphere There are 2 little Japanese gardens within the building and there are rooms that opens up to the gardens or to the veranda. Hallways are narrow, as is common in traditional Japanese houses. It's fuss free from check in to check out and I didn't have to bother the staff except regarding the lock and to get a kettle. Most of the guests are Japanese. While there is an area where you can socialise, I haven't actually seen anyone there. Might be a Japanese thing, might be because I was always back late. The information booklet is also fully in Japanese. Unsure about owner's foreign language abilities. Surrounding There's a seven eleven across the road and it's a 15 min walk to the station or to Hikone Castle. The bus stop is really close by too. It's also next to several shopping arcades. Facilities There's only one shared shower on the first floor. There's also a mixed bath (with 4 showers inside) which you can lock the door of to make it a private bath. 2 female toilets at the end of the first floor and another shared toilet next to the bath and shower. Essential amenities provided, including yukata pajamas. There's a bicycle which you can borrow at anytime. No need to register to use. Staff You'll have to press on a bell near the entrance to get the owner's attention if you don't see him. It was raining the day I checked out and the owner very kindly sent me to the station. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Traditional Ryokan with friendly staff/owners. The food was good and our room was huge (3 rooms!). The hot spring bath was lockable for private use which was awesome.

We were picked up and dropped off at Hikone Station. I was travelling with my daughter and our room consisted of 3 large rooms. There was a private bath which was great! Definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

casa tradizionale, porte in carta, tatami, futon comodo, camera spaziosa. yukata, caopottino e tutto quel che può servire. il bonzo sotto la finestra che recita un mantra. di contro e tutto datato e a guardare il dettaglio si capisce perché è economico. non capisco perché fra il solito piumone nel sacco lenzuolo ed il lenzuolo coprimaterasso ci fosse una coperta?

お風呂は5.6人入れる大きさで早い者勝ちですが、貸切で快適です。 建物は彦根の古い宿なので、それなりですが、トイレや洗面所も共有ですが綺麗でした。 コインランドリーが無く、オーナーさんが洗濯してくれました。 ただ前の通りに面した部屋だったので、遅くまで人の声と車やバイクがうるさかった。 駅からはすこしはなれてますが、コンビニや飲食店も近く便利です。

가격대비 가성비 갑의 훌륭한 료칸임!”
한적하고 일본 본연의 동네같은 느낌의 거리와 히코네성, 비와코 호수 등 소소한 볼거리가 괜찮음. 다만 기차역에서 도보 거리가 조금 있음.. 그래도 방 상태던가 주인분도 무척 친절하심! (귀갓길에 차로 데려다주셔서 감사!)

不错的日式旅馆体验”
总体上非常不错的日式旅馆体验。房子有好多年历史，但维护得不错，没有看到其他评论说的不能接受的老旧。睡榻榻米很过瘾，草席的味道确实很舒服。洗澡和泡汤要轮候，不过这也是日式旅馆一贯条件所限了。老板很热情客气，最后还开车送我到彦根城，给一个赞。要吃早餐的话记得提前跟老板预约，否则可能吃不上。
