"Stayed at the hotel for a few nights while visiting some family on the island, and I was impressed with the location and helpful staff immediately. The hotel is in the heart of Kametsu, near anything you could want on the island. There’s also a great restaurant in the same building with good food and excellent prices. I don’t actually speak much Japanese, but I had a family member with me who did, and the staff helped us out with all of our questions, even recommending some fantastic restaurants on the island. One member from the front desk went out of her way to walk us to our room to show us how to use the A/C (thank you so much if you ever read this! Sorry I couldn’t speak well enough to ever thank you properly!). Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking to spend some time getting to know Tokunoshima! Will definitely be back"
