Best beds so far in Tōkyō”
The pricing is pretty much unbeatable (4956¥/night). And the bed has been the best so far in Tōkyō – jumping on it was the greatest fun! And never have I slept so well. The direct view on the Tōkyō Tower is another fantastic feature of this hotel. The only downsides are that the hotel seems relatively old, and that the breakfast is not very good & too small (…but both details not relevant for such a good price).

Good value for Tokyo but don’t expect too much!”
Semi double rooms are very small and basic and probably ready for refurbishment. Bed is tucked into a corner and up against a wall - so not ideal. Basins in bathroom were shoddy in both rooms we stayed in. Breakfast was adequate but limited for western palate. That said, we paid £50 which was very reasonable for Tokyo. Location was good - close to subway and not too far from monorail. Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous.

Tokyo Grand Hotel has one of the best locations. Very close to Shiba Park where you can see Tokyo Tower perfectly. It is also close to some stations (5-12 minutes walk). The hotel also provided me with complete amenities that you can ask for (shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, hairdryer, towels etc). Moreover, I love the room that they gave. I could see Tokyo Tower from the corner of my window. Such a nice view. I enjoy my stay there and would love to recommend this hotel

It's our second time in Tokyo Grand Hotel and we still love the experience! We requested to book our previous room that is 1410 but it was unavailable during our stay. What they did was to book us in the adjacent room, which has a closer view of Tokyo Tower! Superb customer service--one welcome drink and discount vouchers on their on-site restaurants. For our next trip to Tokyo, we're still staying here! Best location, customer service, and room cleanliness!

Though we only stayed for a night, we enjoyed our stay at Tokyo Grand Hotel. The staff were very friendly and assisted us with all our requests. There was no probllem with the language. It is well situated near train stations and there are a lot of restaurants nearby.

Perfect location with great value”
It was perfect for what I was looking for in my one night in Tokyo. The ride from NRT was a bit long but easy. From the room I could see the Tokyo tower and the Temple. The Daimon station which is an express train from and to the airport was in walking distance to nearby great sushi locations and to the hotel, even though there are closer train stations. It was a simply kept room but clean and just enough space for luggage and movement around the room. The wifi was strong enough on the 15th floor. The staff was knowledgable of my needs and understood enough English to have a conversation without being frustrated. If I were staying longer, I would've stayed there and would stay there again.

I stay at this business hotel because of value, position & cleanliness”
Hotel is clean, tidy, good value with great staff. When travelling from Australia to Tokyo it is my first night's accommodation although I have stayed 2 or 3 days. It is close to all rail and bus. Walking distance to Tokyo Tower and other sights. Jonathons restaurant across from hotel. 50m from 2 convenience stores. Remember it is business hotel. I am tall man (193cm). Rooms are ok for me. I have also used hotel as a base for six member youth tour. Very happy. Excellent value!

Super love TGH! Definitely booking this again when we return next year! Location is super convenient with the Shibakoen Station (Subway) 2-3 minute walk away! Hamamatsucho (JR Line) is also just a whisk away via a 10-12 minute walk. Shiba Park is just on other side of the hotel--around 5 minutes walk, while the Tokyo Tower is around 15 minute walk! Book room 1410 and get a gorgeous sunset (or sunrise) view with the Tokyo Tower looking like within reach! Our room (1410) is spacious with a huge desk, a bathtub, roomy wardrobe, and a huge bed! Neighborhood is quiet with two konbinis (convenient stores) within a jump away!

It was just awesome!”
It was my first trip alone and the first visit to Tokyo. My room was very clean and cozy, with great view of Tokyo Tower. It took about 5-10 min from Daimon Station by foot. Some people say it's too far from the subway station, but I enjoyed walking around on the way back to the hotel. All of the staffs were very kind. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, if I visit Tokyo later.

Great value for money in central location”
The value for money in this hotel is unbeatable. Sure, the room standard in terms of design is not up to modern standards, with rather dated designs on the bed sheets etc. But the rooms are rather spacious for Japanese standards, clean and with a good bath room including the usual high tech closet. Staff is very friendly. The location is super close to Tokyo Tower, 50m away from Shibakoen subway station and also close to the Celestine hotel (100m?) from where the Airport Limousine Bus will take you for only 3000 Yen directly to Narita Airport. Really, a very good bargain!

Pleasant 3 night stays”
Hotel is a bit antique, the lobby and room are clean and quite spacious, they provide sleepwear and icebucket inside the room, also ice cubes on several floors. what i like the most is the view to tokyo tower from the big room window, so make sure you specify your request to get the view. The location is pretty far from JR Station but close to subway. one thing to take into account, Minato is a business - government area so there are not many tourist destination nearby.

Tokyo can be a very expensive place to find lodging unless you're willing to stay outside of the city center. Due to time constraints I wasn't able to stay outside of the city center, but fortunately I found a reasonably-priced room at the Tokyo Grand Hotel.
