Arguably one of the best, if not the best, hotels I have ever stayed at. Finding it was extremely easy, with JR station Shin Nihombashi (one stop from Tokyo station) just around the corner. There are two other Subway stations in walking distance. Rooms are big with modern decor, with WC and a huge shower in separate compartments, and sink outside. Cleanliness is excellent, and staff are polite and able to speak English. There are convenience stores and small eateries peppered all around the hotel. Overall a fantastic stay, would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Feb 2 - 6, 2018. 1. Convenient location near subway saving us time and energy walking in a very cold weather. 2. Simple breakfast enough to start our day 3. Near Tokyo Station for shinkansen if you are a JR pass holder. If you have heavy luggage, please use taxi. We asked the receptionist to call a taxi for us and paid Y1,300 to the driver going to JR office entrance in Tokyo station when we checked out. 4. You can check out and leave our luggage for pick up later on the same day. 5. English speaking staff 6. Money exchange is just a few minutes walk. 7. Near a good udon restaurant just around the corner. 8. I was able to booked the room with a great price using agoda 10% discount voucher. Will definitely come back to Tokyo and stay in the same hotel. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Imperial hotel in Tokyo every year but service is getting worth & room is ok for the price. First time I have tried Tokyo station hotel for 5days. Still lots of constructions in Marunouchi side of Tokyo station & not so easy to find the hotel from stations side. The hotel is simple but good quality of construction - better than Imperial hotel - and very clean. Very helpful staff. Very comfortable to stay. Best locations! I am going to stay again & recommend to our friends.

Having stayed at the Hotel a few months ago when it was just opened and impressed, I returned for a 1-night stay, and was glad that I did. It still offers great service at a very competitive rate. Further, saving the hustle to locate my bearing in the ever complex train system in Tokyo Station, this time I took a walk from Tokyo Station (Nihonbashi exit) (with the assistance of Google Maps of course). It took only about 15-20 minutes and the Hotel is easy enough to identify. I also found a number of convenient stores and supermarkets en route. Shuttle bus service seems to have been improved in the past few months. The operating schedule is more frequent and the vehicle much more spacious and comfortable. Will return next time.

Near to tokyo station, 2 mrt station hibiya line or from haneda airport on Asakusa line at ningyocho station exit A2 & exit A3 & A6 with elevators for luggages, hanzomon line suitengu-mae station exit 8 (5-7mins walk). Near hotel many eating shops eg : sushi, western, bento set with reasonable price. fast foods kfc & mcd. Quiet place with friendly ppls. If you want to go Tsukiji market, Ueno, Akihabara use hibiya line ningyocho or go shibuya, ginza , skytree area use hanzomon line. Hotel breakfast only 2 option every morning, wish could do buffet option in future. Free coffee 3pm onwards at lobby. Coin washer machine at lobby too. Overall good. If late check in just email to hotel & inform them. 7-11 & family mart nearby for supper. Mostly shops in Tokyo close at 8pm /9pm. Mrt till midnight.

near metro station just 2 stop from otemachi (transit to tokyo station). Hotel area are quite. Just remembered hotel didn’t offer complimentary bottled water (you can buy inside hotel) and no cleaning room (only changing towel, clean floor and empty garbage). But room are spacious, have pantry inside, living room, free smartphone to local call and free internet to around tokyo, pantry have anything like scissor, knife, glass, plate even chopstick, large refrigerator. Very suitable for family, also washing machine and dry machine for rent 300¥ and 100¥ (check pic attach) Overall, I will comeback again if still value for money and recommend to my friend

Stayed in the one bedroom for 6 nights, and loved it. The kitchen & washing machine really came in handy. The room & bathroom is very spacious & clean, with modern furnishing & appliances. Staff are friendly & helpful, with good command of english. I emailed several times for advice and they promptly replied. Marunouchi is Tokyo’s cbd, and Ascott is located in the quieter part. There are restaurants underneath the adjacent office buildings, but are closed on weekends. It’s a short walk to other buildings with more dining options like Oazo or Kitte. The otemachi metro station is underneath the property, accessible through escalator & elevator without having to exit the building. Mind you, tokyo metro stations have steps everywhere, so it’s not like you can take the subway to the hotel carrying bulky luggage. There’s a shuttle bus from Ascott to Narita for ¥5000/person or you can take the airport limousine bus from Hoshinoya or Tokyo Station. Taxi to Haneda costs around ¥9000.

We found our stay at this hotel to be very pleasant. First off, the location is great--it's near the subway, which is only a few stops and one transfer away from Tokyo Station (very convenient). Directions: Take the Ginza or Hanzoman line and get off at Mitsukoshi-mae line. Go out the A4 exit. Upon exiting the subway, go left. At the next block, take a left. Go down this street, and it'll be on your left. You have to be right in front of the building to read the English sign, as it is tucked back a bit. Near the hotel are many cafes, bars, convenience stores, and a nice, little Indian curry shop. One thing extremely helpful to us was the luggage storage. We had been in Japan for a year and a half, so we had a lot of luggage to take home. We forwarded our luggage to the hotel via kuroneko. The luggage arrived before we did, but the hotel accepted it and had it in our room when we arrived. We took a one week vacation to Korea before returning back to the same hotel, and the hotel allowed us to store our luggage there while we were in Korea, which saved us a lot of money from using storage at Tokyo Station. This place has internet, but you have to get the cable from the front desk (there's many cables sitting there for you to use and they're free to use). The internet is slow. We were very happy to be able to print out our plane tickets there, but again, the printer and computer were extremely slow. The rooms come with free tea, razors, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, body wash, and hair dryer--all pretty standard for a Japanese hotel. It was extremely small, but all Tokyo hotels are (and most hotels in Japan). For the location and cleanliness, it's hard to beat this price. The staff was extremely helpful and spoke English. They provided us with maps, coupons, and directions to places. I almost forgot some things in our room upon checking out, and the cleaning lady rushed down before we checked out to inform me, which was very sweet o

Our stay at Hotel Ryumeikan was top of the line. The hotel room was small but nothing out of the ordinary in comparison with staying in other big cities like New York City or London. The size of the room was fine for my boyfriend and I, a perfect haven for sleeping each night in the comfortable bed after a long day of sightseeing, and the Japanese "washlet" toilet was the fanciest toilet we encountered in all of the 5 cities we visited in Japan! The shower was phenomenal and state of the art. Everything was spotless and clean, and the staff was very kind and accommodating. A Japanese friend called us through the front desk a few times and the reception was very nice about getting us her messages or transferring the calls to our room. The reception lobby is on the 15th floor, along with the hotel restaurant(which we didn't try), and the hotel has the most amazing smell when you walk in (it reminded me of how the hotels in Vegas have their specific scents that I love!). The closest subway station is Nihombashi station just adjust around the corner from the hotel, literally a minute or 2 minute walk. Or Tokyo station is a 5 minute walk down the street in the other direction. Tokyo Station is a great way to access any part of the city and we loved being so close to it. There are tons of restaurants in Tokyo Station as well - including Tokyo Ramen Street which was our personal favorite. Daimaru department store is also connected to Tokyo Station on the walk to the hotel and was a go to spot for us to grab breakfast.

This is a wonderful five star hotel located across from the Imperial Palace, close to Tokyo station, and near several underground arcades (malls) full on wonderful retail shops and eating places. It is also in the heart of the business section. The rooms are large, comfortable, and contain every conceivable need for a pleasant, relaxing stay. The staff is excellent, often anticipating our needs before we said anything and willing to accommodate every need. I had one small business concern getting a document to be signed, scanned, and emailed, which was accomplished for me without charge and expeditiously. This request, and every one we made, was completed graciously and then followed up on the next day to make sure it had been satisfied. Only issue was that we were unable to get reservations at the restaurants and the room service menu was rather sparse. We like to dine late in the Italian style, but apparently here and everywhere in Japan that is not the custom. Most restaurants close at 10 pm. But I would not consider staying anywhere else in Tokyo. The Palace is a great hotel. If I worked in Tokyo I would want to live there.

The hotel is on the Hibiya line, between the Kodemmacho and Ningyocho stops Its a quick taxi ride from Tokyo station if you're taking different modes of transportation to and from Narita. I was welcomed by several hotel staff members who checked me in very quickly. The staff members were also very helpful with helping me find a 7-11, drug store and determining which train lines to take to certain parts of Tokyo. The room are larger than I expected and was very clean. The surrounding blocks are a mix of residential and business so its lively during the day but not so much at night. The hotel itself was very quiet at night, no problem sleeping and the area is incredibly safe, like much of Tokyo, if you're returning late at night. There is a staff member available at the front desk 24-7. I would stay again and really enjoyed being close to 2 Tokyo Metro stops. There are at least 3 7-11 locations, which are open 24-7, several ramen shops, drug stores, cosmetic stores and other delicious food shops. Again, I really enjoyed my stay and I would recommend it. I'm actually keeping it on my radar for the next time I visit Tokyo.

Got there around 6pm local time. Very easy taking the Express train to reach Tokyo station. Hotel was just less than 5 minutes walk from there. There was an underground tunnel directly link to the hotel from the station. Just ask the station staff. Reception staff were friendly and polite. Gave us free upgrade (complimentary breakfast). Although not much choice for the breakfast (egg, sausage, bacon, salad, fruits, bread etc) but it was good enough for us. The room was not that small actually compared to the other hotels that I have stayed. Room was clean and tidy. All amenities were complete. Very thoughtful of them. Next morning took a stroll to the Imperial Palace and East Garden (12 minutes walk). Heard my friend said that there was a Ramen street at the Tokyo Station but too bad we already left for Kyoto the next morning. Took the Shinkansin to Kyoto from the Tokyo Station the next day. Will definitely stay here again in future.

expected room size for tokyo. the room was very clean, though a bit tight for 2 people. do not expect to be able to spread your things everywhere. the bed was very comfortable, especially after days full of walking. crack the window open at night if the room gets too warm. the bathroom floor will become very wet during your shower, though it will drain. suggested to put the flood towel on the floor after you are done, otherwise it will get soaked. we did not sample the breakfast, but instead stopped by the lawsons on the way to the train station. very close to exit a1 of the bakurokoyama station (which connects underground to the bakuroko station). many lines stop here, including the shinjuku line which cuts right across tokyo to shinjuku in ~20 min. it it also ~2 stops (~3 min) from tokyo station or akihabara station and the yamanote line. if you are able, purchase a suica pass instead of a pasmo pass. it makes no difference in tokyo itself, but if you will be traveling outside of tokyo, the pasmo becomes kinda useless while the suica can still be used for the jr lines.

I travel to Tokyo every few months for business. This is the perfect hotel for that. Location is central, close to Ginza, Akihara, Tokyo station and only 15min to Shinjuku, 25 min to Shibuya. One step away from the metro station exit. Direct train from Haneda or Narita. Room is small but enough space (so do the other hotels in Tokyo), clean and modern. Bed and comforter is very comfy during the cold nights. Pillows are not like the western type that I know of (fluffy and kinna thick), they r very thin. But I get used to them. They provide enough amenities that you don't have to bring anything from home. Toothbrush, comb, body sponge, hairband are provided. Hairdryer, electric kettle with coffee and tea. They have the Japanese robe, yukata that I can use to sleep. So I don't normally bring pj.

Mitsui Gardens Kyobashi was a good place to stay in Tokyo. My mum and I shared a moderate twin room for 3 nights. The beds were very large singles and there was still plenty of room for the suitcases. There was a small cupboard and a few extra hooks. The bathroom had lots of amenities in the bathroom (toothbrushes, etc) and the shampoo and conditioner were good quality. The TV only had one English channel (CNN, which was sometimes dubbed in Japanese). It was about 800 Yen to get a taxi from Tokyo Station. Otherwise come out the Yaesu Central Exit and walk 2 sets of traffic lights down the main street (there is a 7/11 on the left, close to the second set of lights), turn right and walk down a few hundred metres (past the bridal shop) and it is on the right. There is a coffee shop just past it that is quite good, and another along the street and across the first road. To get to the Kyobashi metro, come out of the hotel and turn right, walk down a few hundred meters and its on the right. The staff are very friendly and helpful, but I sometimes found their English levels a little variable. There are quite a few restaurants in Tokyo Station. If you are after a vibrant neighbourhood, this is not for you, but its a nice hotel in a safe area that is very close to Tokyo Station, which is very handy for getting around Tokyo, or to other cities in Japan.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel due to :- 1) Check in and check out process was very easy and fast 2) Staff was very helpful and speaks fluent english. One of the staff offered me a proper container to reheat the food using microwave. The staff always offer help and options. 3) Laundry facilities is available - 200 yen for 1 round of washing and 100 yean for dryer. 50 yen for the detergent. 4) Free shuttle bus service to Tokyo Station 5) Location is very near to Tokyo station which only cost you 890 yen from Tokyo Station to Hotel (I'm travelling with a baby hence we have stroller and big luggages) On the side note, the hotel is very close to TCAT and subway/ metro station, hence if you are using JR pass...you will need to change train/ lines to arrive at the hotel.

No one believed us when we told friends that we booked a hotel in Tokyo town area for around RM200/night. At this price, many would expect to have substandard rooms or far away from town centre. We have stayed at Horidome Villa for 6 nights and can attest that the rooms are what we have read in other reviews. The rooms though small, have everything that we need. Items that you don't find in the rooms can be found in the hotel lobby. The rooms are very clean and the hotel staff are well conversant in English. Best of all, the hotel is located about 3-5 min walk to metro station (Kodemmacho station) and 5-8 min walk to JR station (Shinnihonbashi station). There are a number of eateries and convenient stores around the hotel and the hotel provides free coffee in the morning.

This hotel is located directly above Suitengumai subway station, very near Tokyo station, so it makes zooming around Tokyo very inexpensive and fast. It is also located next to the City Air Terminal, so it is convenient to catch a bus to Haneda or Narita; a lot less luggage handling and changing of subway trains. So location wise it is great. The staff here really care for their guest, so telling them what you want is not a problem. They understand and speak english well. You will get what you requested for. Service is great. The staff gladly listen to your request and will go beyond to ensure you are happy, as such I enjoy staying here despite the fact the hotel is a bit old; but very well maintained. In fact when I was there they were upgrading one of the lifts. Rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and clean. With all this combined, I would recommend others to stay here.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days during my stay in Tokyo. From the moment I arrived the staff was very helpful and checkin was fast and easy. The room was not huge, but perfect for what I needed. The view of Tokyo station from my room was amazing. I did not try the restaurants or bars at the hotel so I can't really comment on that, although everything in the hotel looked awesome. My room was always clean and access to Tokyo station and transportation to Narita airport was very convenient. The hotel entrance is at the Nihonbashi exit of Tokyo station, it's quite a maze there so knowing the right exit will be helpful. I rented a personal wifi hotspot and the hotel took care of mailing it back for me, and also made reservations for me for various restaurants in Tokyo, they were super helpful! I definitely recommend this hotel, great location, service and stunning city views!

I've stayed at a lot of hotels in Tokyo and this is by far the best one. Our room came with pajamas, amenities (razor, toothbrush, etc) a tv, fridge, drinking glasses, kettle and a hair dryer. The room was always made after 11AM and done very well. Close to Hatchobori station, the Hibiya/JR Lines are not too far away! It's only one stop away from Tsukiji fish market and a ten minute train ride away from Tokyo Disneyland. Tokyo Station is a 10-15 minute walk away so if you're coming by bullet train, you can take a cab or walk. There's a bar called Rick's nearby that serves great Spanish cuisine. You've also got ramen, curry, Chinese food, karaoke and Torikizoku nearby which provide more than enough eateries/entertainment. A 24 hour grocery store sits nearby if you need a quick snack or drink (rooms don't have kitchens or microwaves, at least the one we got didn't.) Finally, the morning buffet breakfast is what really makes this place special. Overall, I had a great experience here.

Hello. I was in this hotel for 7 nights. I had choose the "Non-Smoking, Single Person Room". The location of this hotel is very Central. All offices areas are near by location & hotel area is well connected with main transportation services. So nice location for person who visits for Business / official meetings. Exact straight -opposite side of road - 300-400 mtrs walking distance of 7 min is " Tokyo Air Terminal (Bus Stand of T-CAT/ Lemosune Bus" which comes from Narita / Haneda airport in to Tokyo City). Kayabacho Metro Station is 2 min walking distance. "Nihonbashi" which is most central area is hardly 5 min walking distance (300 mtrs) & Tokyo Station is almost 15 min walking distance. Lot of - Indian restaurents, Caffe Shops, Family Marts & Offices are located in near by area. My room was quiet Small, but I visited nearby hotels in Tokyo - it was better & rate was attractive than others. Almost 30% less than others for the same size room. Hotel staff was very co-operative & hotel was nicely maintained. Room Service was nice, Washing Machine & Dryer, Iron was provided on negligible charges. Wi-Fy Speed was excellent. Bathroom was enough big with all amenities & hot water. Room was having "Water Heating Kettle & complementary pouches of Green Tea". The morning breakfast was also good (not suitable for me as Indians do not eat Beef or Pork) but it was having - Sweet Breads, Salad, Eggs, & Juces so - not excellent but Ok for me. In breakfast - they do not serve any "Europian / Continental Breakfast - But it is everywhere in Tokyo / Japan even in five star hotel. So it was not a big deal. Other Japanese / Korean / Chinese even Europian was Enjoying the same. Only the problem was - it do not have any Restaurent for 24 hrs (so after Breakfast at 10 am their Restaurants get close) & dont have any Machine for Tea & Coffee in evening time. So every time I have to go out for Tea & coffee if i need at mid / evening / night. It do not have any Big Lob

So far, this is the best and most affordable hotel one could ever dream of! First, the hotel is just a kilometer away from Tokyo Station, and the nearest subway train station is Mitsukoshimae (5 minute walk from the hotel). Second, though the hotel is near the offices, the surrounding is pretty quiet - even at day time! Third, the room is very clean. Not that very big but it is enough for a family of three (My husband, I and our baby). And the room is kept clean every day. I love the bathroom. Fourth, the staff are all friendly! They speak very basic English, but both can still understand each other. I tried my best to speak with them in my very basic Japanese, and good thing is, they understood me. Fifth, the breakfast is also good, above average (well, for me). Almost everyday, we had our breakfast here before going to our activity for the day. Sixth, there is a free bus service from the hotel to Tokyo Station every day. Just check with them the schedules. Lastly, many restaurants!

I'd say, over-all, this hotel has the best value out of the hotels in Tokyo. The location is very close to Tokyo station, you just hop onto the Subway and you're only two stops away from Tokyo Station. Well, technically, you get off at Otemachi station and walk to Tokyo Station while underground. It may be a little tricky to find places nearby to eat, as you may have to walk a little bit. But there are plenty of places to eat, and a convenience store located just down the street. The only thing that may be a turn-off to travelers is the hotel is a smoking hotel. So some of the floors may smell like cigarettes, and that smell may leak to your floor as well. This is a business hotel, so technically many traveling business people stay here typically, I wouldn't really consider it a "Tourist" hotel. There are a lot of Izakaya located close to the hotel as well, which, considering Kayabachou is foremost a business district doesn't surprise me. English may also be an issue for some.

It was great! Staff had a reasonable command of English and are very helpful. There was free breakfast with my stay package, but I spent most of my time trying out various snacks from the convenience stores next to it. There's Lawsons, 7-11 and family mart just a few steps away. The room was really compact, but had everything that I needed. Full length mirror, kettle, TV, desk and chair. There was even a night gown and slippers provided. In the bathroom there's Shiseido shampoo conditioner and soap, razor, toothbrush, hairbrush, bath sponge and q-tips are provided. There's one of those retractable clothes line in the bathroom, and since winter air is dry; I managed to do my laundry daily. There's a laundry room on the 3rd floor if needed. Please note that since its a business district, on Sunday night, dinner is harder to come by. Most of the restaurants are open every night and there's no lack of selections at all, except Sunday night. The station closest to Smile hotel is Kayabacho station. It's on the Tozai/Hibiya line, which gives you direct transport to Akihabara and Tsukiji market. Tokyo station is located across from Otemachi station. Great place! Clean and convenient.

This hotel is typical in Tokyo. Extremely small rooms but very clean, reasonable location close to Nihombashi subway and Tokyo Station and relatively easy to find. I was travelling alone so the room size was not a problem for me. Not even the fact that there was no wardrobe to hang my clothes, just a couple of hooks and two hangers. Everything else about the hotel was fine and entrance to Nihombashi station is practically next to the hotel. And tons and tons of restaurants are easy to find. At the very least you could go to Tokyo Station and find heaps of them also, or take a 20 minute walk to the Ginza area from the hotel and you just can't go wrong. I'd gladly go back and stay here again.

Shangri-la never fails to live up to its name. It's located at tokyo station, a central location, with all the main metro lines and airport express within reach. The service is fantastic, they were happy to make restaurant reservations for us before our arrival, and they even offered to keep our extra baggage in the hotel for 9 days after we checked out, when all we did was enquire with them about long term storage at tokyo station! This is a huge help for us as we didn't want to lug around multiple luggages while traveling to Kyoto and Osaka, before coming back to Tokyo again. The room itself: fabulous. Huge for tokyo standards. We got a deluxe room, and somehow ended up in the corner room, with a huge shower/ bathroom that had a window looking towards the city. The room had all we need, and much more. The bed promises a good night sleep, and I can barely hear any noise from the corridor. Would totally stay there again.

This new budget hotel in Tokyo is not expensive. Although it’s located away from the heart of Tokyo, it is close to many metro stations (5-10mins walk) and JR Tokyo station (15mins). It doesn’t have much to offer except a bed, it is clean and tidy, and all basic amenities you expect from hotel in Japan. The staff is helpful too. A good choice if you are going to take Shinkansen from JR Tokyo Station to other cities around Japan.

I spent 3 nights in Citan and it turned out to be one of the best choices I've ever made when visiting Japan. The place is well-designed and fully-equipped with facilities. Great guestroom. Clean shower room. Coffee and snacks at the reception are worth tasting. :-) I totally recommend. Underground bar is a great choice to perfectly end your day in Tokyo after having fun in local izakaya. I don't know much about the area but it seems to be a small commercial area for local folks. surrounded by 4 train stations (5-10min walk), you can conveniently commute anywhere in Tokyo from this spot. Fantastic experience on my 4th visit in Tokyo. PS. I visited Tori Gen, Japanese skewers place nearby. Amazing one! 6 whiskey highball for only 1400-1600 yen. OMG Truly recommended! I encourage you!

Downsides: we had a really hard time finding it from Tokyo station when we first arrived. And are all beds in Japan so firm? But once we learned how to navigate the subway, the location was okay. Raves: so many little extras in our room-- charging cords, toothbrush, slippers and robe, tea of course, and the fridge is handy, blackout curtains and quiet room helped sleep. Oh, and free laundry, bless them! Room is cozy like everything in Tokyo, but enough room for luggage, and a little closet helped. Overall, well cared for.
