Location, comfort and cool”
I thoroughly enjoyed my 10-night stay at Tokyu Stay Shinjuku Eastside. Its location is ideal - a walk from Shinjuku Station on first arrival (from Narita Airport on the Narita Express), with all the attractions of Shinjuku at hand, and very close to a Metro station to link to the myriad attractions of the entire city. Not much more than a year old, the hotel feels very fresh, and very cool - sleek lines, simple modern design, and comfortable. My twin bed room had a very handy washer/dryer (enabling me to take fewer clothes), a good-sized fridge, microwave, hot plate, water jug, crockery, cutlery and a few kitchen implements. And, of course, a warm toilet seat! The breakfast offered a very wide range of buffet selections, and was excellent. I had 10 breakfasts, and was able to have plenty of variety. I found the staff, without exception, to be very pleasant and - on the odd occasion on which it was appropriate - helpful. I expect to visit Tokyo again, and will return to this hotel. Please don't book it out!

We booked a residential twin room. The room was spacious and clean. We could do some simple cooking there as well as go dining in numerous restaurants nearby. The hotel is very convenient as it is close to Kabukicho and also 2 subway stations (Higashi - Shinjuku & Shinjuku-sanchōme). The hotel staff was friendly and willing to assist. The overall experience with the hotel was great and definitely I will book this hotel next time I come to Tokyo.

The hotel is pretty new and facilities are good, especially the free locker and baggage storage. The room is small but very clean and comfortable. The hotel has good location, tho not right next to the Shinjuku station.

Great location”
The hotel was super clean and new, and having the washing machines in the room was so helpful. I thought it would be unbearably noisy to have it on if we were in the room, but they’re actually very quiet. Being close to higashi-shinjuku station was also very useful because shinjuku station is just too chaotic and takes a long time to arrive at the right platform. All round great hotel.

Good for all types of traveller including family with young children”
I was travelling with a family of four we have different type of room . I had a double bed room not big but good size have a washing machine and a microwave !! My flight was early and had to leave by 5:20 bus to Haneda airport from the terminal hail a taxi outside the hotel (¥1060)

Don't worry about bringing lots of change clothes tih you on the trip to Tokyo. The laundry machine alone is a lifesaver. Rooms are huge for Japan's standard and all the amenities provided is like a second home away. Will definitely come back here next trip

Only walking distance to shinjuku, location is very strategic, love it so much! Got convenience store nearby, got mcd, tokyo metro is just 350m away. Overall the best decision ever staying there

Hotel's location is in a walking distance to Shinjuku area. Room size is large and comfortable to stay. Great facility and nice staff. I found a little bit dusty bed, but for the total the room is quite clean.

It was good to stay here, location is 15mins walk to Shinjuku, but some of metro lines are nearby. The only thing was my room is at low floor and facing main avenue so my conscious was wakened up in the middle of nights by ambulance siren, but it is not a big deal for me since I drank every night.

Near metro but would need 12-15 mins walk to Shinjuku jr station/shopping and eating areas. Very spacious room , with private washing machine, microwave , fridge and sink, literally have all essentials if you would prefer to cook. Clean room with daily housekeeping service, tv with YouTube , Netflix ( own login). A cozy hotel for travelers!
