Pools were not heated and kids overwhelmed late night adult pool time splashing guests while their parents sat. Cart access limited. pools should close earlier for kids. Beach umbrellas should be included in amenities

everything was very clean and the room was so nice with a great balcony area
even though this is on the beach the walk from our room was still a hike. our room advertised beach views and while it did have a beach view it was very limited

You will not get the property pictured...”

The property was up to date and clean. Vacasa (the hosting company) was pleasant and easy to deal with.
BEWARE- I have traveled many times to this area in Destin. This is the first and last time I will use Booking.com for a condo. The pictures shown of the ocean front room are not the view you will get. I could only see the parking lot and buildings even though paying a very expensive rate for ocean view. Booking.com did not help me out. Did not refund. I was on hold a very long with them hoping they would help since it is misinformation to post the first pic you see of an ocean view room. The unit was nice but VERY noisy. Have never been so disappointed with a booking before. Waaaay too expensive for a view of the parking lot. It felt like bait and switch. Apparently you get a room at the resort- but just whatever room is available. So if paying for an ocean view- book through another website.

Other than the apartment not being as clean as I would like, we had a very relaxing, pleasant stay”

Proximity to the beach. Staff was friendly. Areas outside the room were nice. Pool area was nice. Parking was easy.
The unit needs to be upgraded. The ceilings are dirty and the carpet is filthy and worn out. TV Remote had no batteries. Blender didn't work, however staff did promptly replace.

Dust on walls in livingroom and ceiling fans, blow dryer didnt work, LR ceiling fan didnt work ,sticky gross on front of dishwasher, bobby pins on bedside table, dusty lampshades above dining table , broken cabinet doors. $250.00 cleaning fee , someone is ripping you off.

I feel I should sue Booking for the "bait and switch" on the room.”

I booked through Booking.com and when booked had 1102 and after confirmation it changed to 410. Can't get anything from Booking,
Switched room after booking, kitchen sink disposal broken, floors were not very clean, no extra blankets for couch, hair on walls in bathroom, second bedroom bathroom leaked.
