Location is OK”
Do not expect a hotel or inn-type lodging. The hotel looks like a small urban house. Good for those who just want a place to stay and leave their belongings. Room is spacious (can accommodate 3 people I think) but has no window. With wifi and cable TV. No shower. Encountered a cockroach and a mouse in the room, but overall I was comfortable during my stay.

Best place for short time”
This is a nice link between Kalibo Ati-Atihan and Boracay. The big surprise was breakfast served in the room for the 3 of us. We paid 2 rooms. No windows but good shower room.

Torres Lodge”
We arrived in Kalibo airport over 10pm so we had to stay one night for next day departure for other island. We arrived Torres lodge over midnight and the little boy was there seemed like working at there. He didn't even recognized my booking confirmation. Anyway, after awhile phone call, he let us getting into room. I couldn't sleep anymore because right next to the room there is chicken crowing starts 5am in the morning and loudly. And found out big cockroach in my room. Toilet is not working. Didn't really care hot water is not working though because you wouldn't have shower in that toilet though. i think the room is worth less than that. I think this room is good for killing time under the shadow if you needed. However i discovered that there are decent rooms are available with restaurant near the Boracay airport too.

Matttess was terrible....not even a mattress....Toilet broken and they made no attempt to repair....Room NEVER cleaned in 3 nights 4 days....Lady was rude when I asked for wifi password....I stayed at this hotel during Ati Atihan....They did not know I was arriving but they accepted the voucher....The mototrikes are extortionate because it is near to the Borocay boat terminal....They ask 50 to 100 pesos for a short ride when locals pay 20 or less.....The toilet and shower is in the room seperated by a board. The water pressure is low. The hot water doesnt work. I have had much better hotels in the philippines for the same price. This is a terrible hotel surviving off its location and not much competition unless you go on Boracay. The room was worth 10 dollars or less.

The accommodation is budget, but the owner has great information about sites to see in Cataclan that we wouldn't have heard about. The free breakfast was great!

maybe it was just bad timing but we didn't get to stay in this resort until the last day when we were about to go back to Cebu. we requested the breakfast to be served earlier since we had an early flight but the staff was not able to accommodate it.

The owner Mr.Mike Torres is the most hospitable person I met when I was on my vacation in boracay. Although Torres lodge is located few minutes by boat from boracay, it is strategically located where you can take a boat and travel just 15 min. to enjoy the beach and you can be back at the lodge just before dark and if the weather permits you can enjoy the nightlife and go back to the lodge before the boat stop ferrying passengers.
