Where to stay in Town Center
Town Center hotels & accommodations

I would stay there again when in banaue. It is the best hotel in the area. It is not in the town center, good because it is far from the chaos. It is old but adequately maintained. It offers tours around the area, priced the same as those prescribed by the tourism authority. If there are enough guests, which it did that time, it lets a cultural group do show, for whate...

We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights. The rooms facing the street was a bit noisy then because of an alumni celebration and parade nearby, so we requested to be transferred in a room facing the mountains. It was resolved fast and easy. It was a basic room with a bed, vanity cabinet and private comfort room. No television, but the wifi was fast. The food in their re...

I traveled with my bf and my 2 siblings in the middle of June 2016. We rented (2) rooms with a double bed. Our room was facing the rice terraces (amazing view especially during sunrise) but my siblings room was facing the road. The rooms were clean but a bit small; however, there was enough space to move around. The jalousie windows didn't have a screen to prevent ins...

It feels great to be able to experience staying in a native Ifugao hut. The place has very good views of the rice terraces, so you have a pituresque view for the whole duration of your stay, perfect for picture taking. No need to stop by other view decks in Banaue. The place is very cozy and relaxing. You can request for a bonfire at a minimal charge, which is really u...

We liked the location as out of town. Description in some of previous reviews accurate in that it feels like you are in a home stay. Family were friendly but could benefit from making small changes such as having basic information about the area to share or offering some basic information on arrival. Also whilst in a peaceful setting they had karaoke on insanely loud f...

Rice Homestay was our home for 4 days & 3 nights whilst we explored the Banaue area with our two young children aged 4yrs & 6yrs. We booked a family room which was very spacious (2x single beds & 1x double bed) & had a small balcony with lovely views of the river below, a small rice terrace & looked over to Banaue village. Food was not bad & choices were good. There is...

We were picked up from the bus station upon arrival from Manila. We were given tips on the best places to go. We booked our tours thru them and we were given the best guides. Everything we need - they readily lend a hand. Thumbs up to all the staff. We were glad we chose it as our home in Banaue.

The room was spacious enough and the bathroom clean. Its a nice place to stay, juste beside the river. It is around 10-15 minutes walk to the town center. But dont take the services of transport at the hotel. They charge double de fees. Exemple to go to the center market (town center) they charge 40pesos but on the street its 20pesos. And to gonto batad they charge 10...

The guest house arranged for us to be fetched at the bus station. Koreen is conveniently located in the center of town where there are many decent places to eat at ranging from local, Chinese, to Western food. It's also right beside the Police Station, and is across the trike terminal where you could rent a trike for the whole day. The market, bakery, and grocery store...

We really enjoy our stay at halfway lodge , Charlie is the best guide in town ask for him , he know a lot about the cultural and the history of the town and around , we went to hapao and batad rice terrasse with him and we enjoy it !! The room was clean , the staff was really kind and helpful !! The food was good and you can dinner with a nice view of banaue rice terra...

the place is quiet and as the name suggests, it is a village. location is far from the town center so we have to hire a trike to bring us to there which is about 10km from the village. It was raining when we arrived so we just stayed in our cottage the whole day/night. No hot water in the shower, it was very, very cold when we were there. The staff were very pleasant a...

Pro: The room was spacious and the bed nice and clean. There was a hot shower and it is close to downtown Banaue, so except for the roosters nice and quiet. Cons: On checkin someone gave us the key and pointed us the room. For the rest of our stay we were totaly ignored. There's no breakfast or wifi available.

The food is good and they are very kind enough to have your food cooked. The only I don't like are the barking dogs at night so I did not sleep well. The room also small for a family. And I don't know if the breaker for our room was intentionally off at 9 pm together with other rooms booked by my friends. So if your outlets were not working ask immediately the front de...
