Our twin room was very clean and the view looking out at Lake Toya was just so beautiful. Our room plan included breakfast and dinner buffet. Both has a lot of varieties to choose from. Personally, I feel the dinner buffet was more of quantities than qualities. The hotspring is the best. U can soak at their open air hotspring looking out towards lake toya. That was the best. The water park inside the hotel is also free. Don't worry if u didn't bring swimwear because u can actually rent swimwear there for 300yen. There was female, male and children swimwear for rent. U can really spend the entire day in the hotel itself. Parking is free too. Definitely will stay here again if I ever come back to Lake toya

Exceptional”
I was apprehensive booking this at first given the below 8 review, however I was blown away!! I was given an upgrade for my booking apparently (original room pic looks old-school) to a newly renovated room (western-tatami). The beds are elevated and permanently on the tatami so thats great for old bones like mine. Main areas were also refurbished. There is a huge swimming playpool where u can rent bath suits if need to as well (300 yen) . Both breakfast and dinner are buffet style with lots of selections (unlimited roe for bfast!) though i hope they could have change menu on alt days. Staffs are always polite and eager to help. Onsen is spacious, overlooking the lake and just heavenly. My only wish will be overseas tourists will adhere on onsen etiquettes, like not soaking your towels or hairs in the bath, and not leaving used towels around.

It's an amazing experience to stay here if you have kids. They have huge waterpark inisde the hotel with manmade wave and slides. The location is beautifully located by the lake, with the great view and fireworks everyday from 8.45pm-9.05pm. The hot spring bath is one of the best I've ever experience! YOu get the view of the Lake Toya while dipping in hot bath outdoor! :) Breakfast has huge variety , big room. Totally will come back to this hotel if I've got a chance in the future.

Every facilities was grate and usable. Unfortunately we reach a bit late. So the dinner was over when we checked-in but we received dinner voucher ¥2000 instead. Breakfast is a must, do not missed!

Amazing onsen, beautiful views, impressive buffets, but horrible outdated rooms with awful smell.”
We LOVED the onsen (hot spring) and I would give this place 5 stars just for that, but the hotel room (standard room) was awful. It was probably 40+ years old with no renovations, had a permanent smell of smoke masked by a strong cologne smell, really outdated bathroom, uncomfortable beds, and several cracks and holes in the walls. We spent as much time as possible in the onsen, at the restaurant, and in the beautiful lounge. As long as you're okay with having a bad room, this place is worth it, but if you want to be comfortable in your room then I'd recommend either paying more for one of the renovated rooms or staying somewhere else.

If you book together with meal included, most probably the food provided are buffet. Which is delicious! The location of the hotel is far away, so it is recommended to get a car. They do provide transportation back to Sapporo.

Fair Enough”
The view is extraordinary with a fair amount of facilities. However, there are too many tours living in and could be a bit crowded and some of the facilities is a bit old. Still, the staffs are very caring and the shuttle service is wonderful for people who would like to go to Toya in Sapporo.

Excellent location but some very dated rooms”
Fantastic property and views. Great lobby and onsen facilities. Very good buffet food although it is the same food choices for 2 days we stayed. The guestroom that we were given had a very strong smoke smell so we asked to switch. We then had to pay for an upgrade to a non smoking floor but the room was very dated and still smelled of smoke and the bathroom had a sewer smell. We then asked to switch again and were given an upgraded room which was very nice. It still had a faint smell since they still allow smoking in one room on a non smoking floor. Go figure. Overall very good resort but make sure you ask for an upgraded room on a non smoking floor if the smoke bothers you.
