Find hotels near Toyako in Toyoura, Japan

Everybody in our group are very happy for this hotel. We rented small van NISSAN SERENA model for 7 days. Beginning to drive from Chitose Airport-Sapporo--Otaru-Asahikawa-Furano-Noboribetsu-Toyako Lake and ended at Hakodate. This hotel are the best compare to those hotel we had stayed along the way. Also you can see the Fire Works in the Lake from your hotel room.Great!!

Super awesome! Daiwa Ryokan Annex is just 3 mins walk from the Toyako Onsen Bus Terminal. (I took the 2h45mins) direct bus ride from Sapporo Bus Terminal.) Check-in starts at 3pm but that's cool as we took a leisurely stroll along the lake side and a longer than usual lunch. View is fantastic from the hotel room that faces the lake. We could watch the fireworks show directly from our room every night. A point to note though: There is NO toilet and showering facilities in the room. There is a basin in the room for brushing teeth/washing face. Toilets are shared for guests on the same level. The toilets are clean, so all is good. As for showering, we had to use the shared onsen/bath area at basement 1. Male and female onsens are separated as you had to remove all clothings to enter the onsen. Other than the initial awkwardness, we enjoyed the experience very much. (Shower foam and shampoo are provided) I had dinner and breakfast included in my package. As I stayed for three nights, the menu was alternated. First night was the grilled lamb (Genghis Khan set) while we had pork shabu shabu for the 2nd nigh. The menu repeats on the 3rd night. Those who love meat will definitely enjoy the dinners. Breakfast was fantastic for me. All in all, a fantastic stay! Highly recommended!

We enjoyed the combination western and Japanese style sleeping room with lake view. The spa is very nice offering multiple pools both inside and outside. The bingo activity after dinner was a nice added opportunity to have fun before relaxing in the spa. This hotel is located on the waterfront in Toyako. It is well worth the extra price to be in this area with an exceptional view of Lake Toya and the volcano across the lake.

This is one of the best hotel we stayed in our trip to hokkaido. We book the Japanese style with half board, it has a very nice view over the lake. Room wasn't big but good enough for our family of 4. after check in, we had a walk in the town and counting ourselves lucky that we got a half board package as the surrounding seems quite with only few restaurants. The out door onsen is good as I find the indoor a bit stuffy. The dinner was GREAT with lots of variety of Japanese dishes served to you in the room. Staff was very polite and I should say I have zero complain on this hotel.

We have booked a tatami style room with lake view. The lake view was indeed breathtaking. The room size was large and comfortable. It has an indoor and outdoor onsen. The outdoor onsen availability alternates daily between male and female. Therefore if you are only there for a night, you or your partner might not be able to enjoy it. Breakfast and dinner were served more like in a cafeteria style. The presentation of food and the decor of the restaurant can be improved. Staff were friendly. There is a bus stop just next to the hotel. If you take a Donan bus, you can request it to stop at the hotel instead of the Toyako Onsen bus terminal. We booked a Donan bus straight from Sapporo Station. Overall, we have enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was a distance away (10 mins walk) from the Toyako Onsen bus station, but you can take a Donan bus that stop nearby the hotel. The hotel is very close to the Illumination tunnel and Illumination street. We were able to see the Winter Fireworks up close and it was the best of the 4 fireworks we saw in Hokkaido. The room is very spacious and has a aircon, heater and electric fan. We were also able to use the onsen of the hotel beside ours, which has a great view. There are also tax free drug stores where we got our fix of beauty products.

The staff at Kitutuki Canadian Club were very friendly. We booked one night there for a cottage with five people inclusive dinner and breakfast. The food was excellent and delicious. We couldn't see the firework at the lake from our balcony as blocked by the trees so we walked to the car park in front of the check-in house to watch it. As we are on the other side of the lake (which is good as much quiet) the firework was smaller but we still enjoyed it. We enjoyed very much the stay and will definitely stay there again if we visit Lake Toya in future.

We chose this hotel because of its price tag and convenient location. The hotel is very well located, 3 mins from the toyako bus terminal and along the shore of lake toya. The staff was helpful for our late checkin. The room was larger than expected amd had wifi, a kettle, and a fridge. There were also tea cups and a tea pot. However the smell when entering the room was stark - old wood perhaps. We got used to it after a while. The bathroom was small, old and there seemed to be some moød on the ceiling. Checkout at 10 am is also a bit early. We were a few minutes late but got a call at 10 am sharp reminding us of checkout time; it felt a bit rude. We did not have time to try the hot spring so cannot comment on it.

Location was around 25min walk to the center of the Toyako onsen town and near the 西山火口散策路 bus stop. It is however, near the entrance two of the walking trails. Lady owner spoke only Japanese but was very kind to offer to fetch me (and another traveler) with her car after the fireworks display at Lake Toya at night. Room was spacious and clean. No convenient stores nor restaurants nearby but tranquil place to stay in. There's fridge, kettle and sink in the room (sufficient for instant meals).
