A place to crash- as someone staying there said 'This place is a bit dodgy.I'd lock your door'”

Located by the docks a 15 min walk to town; a cheap place to find a bed. It's a key-code system and the info is picked up from another place just 2 mins walk away and works well. Not all does though, as there is no kettle/microwave although signs suggest otherwise, and no drinking water taps (I bought a lot of water from town!) Lack of staff could create issues I had people talking until 4am 1 night and doors being kicked another night! The cleaners do a good job on the large bathrooms (1 per floor- O.K.)& the rooms are good (TV was usually O.K. some channels get interference) O.K. for a place to crash, but I would spend a few pounds more to stay somewhere with water, a kettle and staff. I wouldn't recommend for single travellers (especially single women who want to feel safe as it's in a dark part of the docks) or families. At the time lots of building work was going on directly opposite and there is a music studio across the road which bands crank it up to 11! Deep sleepers only.

Useless. Accidentally booked wrong date, immediately phoned up, they refused to refund. Absolute trash.

Worst experience ever”

When we arrived there was a sign on the door saying that the check in was elsewhere and had to walk for 3 minutes. When we arrived, another sign said that check in was from 2 to 8 so we had to ask a stranger on the street to use his phone to call them. 40 minutes later the person encharged arrived saying that we didn't say we were going to arrive so late even though we did wrote that when we booked the place. Our room was very old, the springs of the matress were really noisy and we could literally hear the person in the next room blowing his nose, really thin walls. There was one bathroom on our floor wich was extremelly hot and had no shower, had to use the one on the upper floor. There were guests smoking marihuana and the place filled up with the smell. Of course there was no reception so no one was there to stop it. We decided to stay only one night even though we paid for 2, the place and the neigbourhood were horrible. Didn't feel safe at all.

Nice room with comfy beds, had everything we needed including towels and when we checked in the man was very helpful. Would stay again

B&B you should automatically mean bed and breakfast not just bed very disappointed, and demanded extra money when I arrived, when l had fully paid for the accommodation before I arrived, I do not recommend this place

No good , I booked 3 persons' room, but my 2 colleagues can't stand for the room and run away for another hotel in the middle of the the stay! Why, because some guests keep screaming in the early morning at 6:30 and no body stop that because no reception and no staff there to manage, then the rest of guests have to suoffer that situation, the worst experience I have ever had!!

Waste of money ”

Location: about 30 - 40 min walk to centre. Literally nothing else around the B and B. Rooms were okay, clean but small. Bathroom clean. No food facilities inside B and B, check out too early...had to get a taxi there and back - there are better value for money places in centre

No wifi, no chairs to sit on”

The bed was ok. Showers worked properly. We had a partial view over the Mersey. The place is old and worn-out, but it was kept clean; no trash, dust or insects, whatsoever. Kind of attractive as a building, really. On the other hand: The phone number that was given, didn't answer, there was reference to a Breakfast area, but no indication of its location. Breakfast was supposed to be booked in advance, but with no phone answering, and no reception open, except for times that we were out, the whole &B concept of this B&B remained obscure. Despite the promise, there was no wifi (it was one of our selection criteria). We were given wrong advise for the check-in - we were advised that check-in would be open from 8am. Turned out, it opened at 2pm. One night, there were youngsters making noise all through the night. Another night, drunk young adults shouting through the night, not only in their room, but in the street as well. We had seen pictures of the rooms as posted on the net - not bad, actually. But our room didn't have the chairs that were shown in the pictures. Luckily, we were out quite a lot to really miss sitting in the room.

Very basic, clean with rough edges, felt safe. Not a place to take your dear old mum, but was fantastically cheap accommodation for a city visit, ideal for an adventure. Will go back.

Little bit far away from town centre but acceptable . Reception is not in hotel and you need take a walk about 5 minutes to check in.

Petite chambre”

Première nuit : bien. Deuxième nuit : bruits, cris, disputes de 3h30 à 5h du matin (personnes rentrées ivres...), donc très bruyant. Il manque un concierge faisant respecter le calme. Petit déjeuner à 200 m de l'hôtel : bien.

Fenster kaputt, Heizung geht Nicht ! ”

Nicht nochmal. Leider ging in mehreren Räumen die Heizung nicht sowie die Heizung. Sauberkeit Service Style sind ok.
