We had a 4 nights stay and we were very satisfied. The room and the hotel is clean and presentable. I like the early Christmas decorations, made the place festive. Thank you for making the effort so your guests are comfortable. Thank you for making the hotel clean and warm. Your restaurant is very good also with good prices food. My husband enjoyed the baked potato with cheese and onion with fresh salad and coleslaw on the side. The price of our stay is very good value for money. The location is excellent also. Nice walking back to the hotel as it's next to the river. Only less than 10 minutes walk to the shops, train and bus stations.

The staff are so helpful the hotel is clean & the cooked breakfast is good .The hotel is in an ideal position by the River Ness .

Lovely hotel in a perfect location”
Impressed by the hotel, room was clean, in great condition and well equipment with a lovely view of the river. Steff at breakfast were very thorough and efficient regardless of the additional measures required due to COVID. Hotel is in a great location across the river and a short walk to the city centre but only drawback is that it does not have a carpark although parking is available close by.

Surpassed my expectations!”
After an awful experience in Coventry, England, in a 3 (now 2) star Hotel now I always expect the worst from any Hotel I'll go to but this surpassed my expectations! A very good one must say! Just a shame they don't have their own car park but we didn't have much trouble finding a place to park the car near the Hotel.

Great value in an older hotel”
The Columba team were excellent - friendly and professional. There were issues with my room and these were dealt with quickly and thoughtfully. The hotel is old and much of it is showing its age but the beds were comfortable and the rooms were spotlessly clean and their prices were very reasonable. I would happily go back.

Victorian splendour”
Set on the banks of the River Ness, directly opposite Inverness Castle, the location is quite splendid - an easy walk into the centre of the city. Its panelled entrance and lobby.. look really quite grand and cozy at the same time. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Everything that one should expect from such a grand hotel. Thoroughly recommended!

The location is great, just opposite the Inverness castle at the other side of the river. The room is large and clean. The staffs are nice and friendly. The breakfast is full of everything you want!
