Hotel Closed”
We arrived the night before our flight out to USA to find the hotel temporarily closed due to escalators being fitted! We had no notice from the hotel and in fact had checked website a week before to look at restraunts and no word of it being closed. I had booked this months before and they had taken my money. When they knew they were going to be shut surely an email and a refund would have been appropriate but neither have been forthcoming! It cost us £185 to get a hotel that night on top of the £70 odd pounds for our initial booking. Have emailed them and nearly a week now without reply. Very very poor customer relations will never use again

Best value near Glasgow Airport ”
This hotel is currently being renovated by the new owners Muthu Hotels. It is great value.

we were in an un upgraded room ”
the room and the hotel (apart from the Lobby were in need of refurbishment 0 chipped paintwork through out - no bathplug- limmited WQiFi -tV had limmited stations - eg no BBC chanels teh waiter who served us did not understand our order and brought poached eggs when porridge was requestd. the chair in the room was loose and although having 4 legs it rocked and appeared likely to collapse- the Matress was so soft that a 6" mattress collapsed to less than an inch when you sat on it - it was like sleeping on the baseboard with a sheet over the top . The outside windows were covered in dirt/dust and needed a good clean - we were looking forward to the swimming pool and jaccuzzi but were told on arrival that it was not available.- the walls were painted concrete and not vry attractive- In fairness when this was pointed out teh reception staffwaived the fee for breakfast- and the room price was low.

It is good for pleasure but there is no active swimming pool since for months as I aware ( maybe years ) ”
It is quite long time, its swimming pool is under renovating and out of service. One of the staff on the phone said it will be OK until we go there which didn’t. If this is important for you, ask if the swimming pool is working at the moment you call them. Rest of things were really good view is awesome. In terms of location; if you go for pleasure is great, otherwise is out of Glasgow and far from all facilities and probably public transportation. I have a car so I am not quite sure although no bus stop, metro etc. saw. Parking is free, plenty and close to hotel ( basically on site ) Staff were great and helpful except the one gave me a wrong information about swimming pool. Price is reasonable I recommend it in general. the view of the rooms is game changer !

Dirty hotel ”
I have booked two nights but I couldn’t stay more than few hours because the hotel was very dirty and the staff of the reception has a poor service at night. So I decided to leave the hotel and I wasted money.

Dreadful Hotel”
Paid Premium price but bitterly disappointed Dated furniture Shower didn't work properly Wasted time for long delays on lifts Overall Hotel looked tired Would rate at best as 2 Stars Won't return

Exceptional Staff”
Hotel and facilities are a little tired, jacuzzi highlight. All the staff hardworking especially the deputy manager who was very welcoming and clearly works hard around the hotel.

Not worth the hassle ”
Group of 8 stayed for 3 nights. We had good speciations for this hotel. Did not enjoyed our experience. Facilities was closed. Our floor was dirty, lifts issues. Very noisy. To be fare wanted to leave the very first day.

Friendly, clean accommodation ”
Stayed for two nights on business as a key worker during lockdown. The hotel was quiet during my stay. The staff were excellent - welcoming, friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable, although there were a few signs of wear and tear, but nothing that stopped me from having a comfortable stay and good nights sleep. The restaurant was limited to guests only and maybe running a more limited menu under lockdown, but there was a good range of choices, including vegetarian dishes. I thoroughly enjoyed my meals on both nights of my stay - food was prepared from scratch, tasty and a good portion size. Serving staff were great. I’d certainly stay here again if I was working in the area.

Lovely little stop off”
Great location near motorway, and canal for a peaceful run or walk. Lovely wee pool and jacuzzi. Sauna too, but that needs some repairs. Nice food in restaurant /bar. Has everything you could need or want, is tidy and clean, and has lovely staff, but really needs some tlc to make it shine

Rooms were clean tidy but next door was smoking out the window we had to endure the smell all night steam room was very very run down you should have just closed it food was lovely no complaints staff friendly and helpful. We might come back If the facility’s get updated

Disappointing”
The room is cold and there is no way to control the heater. They gave is a wee heater after complaining for 3 times. Reception staff is rude and not professional.

old hotel but acceptable. we were changed to other rooms (due to the plugs not working), however the room wasnt as good as the 1st one.. dissapointed.. overall, nice stay. lake view 👍🏻

Would not recommend to travellers, we booked for 8 days and waste our money as we did not stay at this place it was far, far away from everything, hotel was alright not for travellers who wants to see the city, would recommend puting more info about location and nearest public trnasport, how often it comes and shops, cafe and restaurant, as some people would prefer to eat somewhere else other than eating at the hotel restaurant everynight

Family event”
We had booked this hotel as a family wedding was being held there. Everything went well with our stay. Hotel was clean, food was lovely and staff very attentive. Only negative thing was that the bar prices are really exspensive

The hotel is in need of refurbishment and it should recommend that all clients should be responsible for luggage under the present climate there was luggage lying unattended in foyer and at breakfast please pass this on
