Great to be BACK!”
We were so sad last year when we couldn't come from Carlisle due to lockdown. This is our FAVOURITE hotel! Staff are so lovely and the swimming facilities are amazing. We love the breakfasts and the rooms are incredibly comfortable. We love the location of the building - so easy to get everywhere and great views near The Clyde. Thank you for all that you do.

Lovely hotel”
I have stayed in this hotel several times before. The hotel reception and lounge/bar area are lovely, the spa facilities are excellent and so relaxing. We got upgraded to a suite by the staff because it was a special birthday and the suite was awesome. Thank you

Great Hotel”
We have stayed here at least 4 times and got upgraded to a suite due to it being a special birthday which was lovely. The spa and gym facilities are great, lounge/bar is nice, food was great and it is walking distance to Glasgow. Highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff”
First room we got on sixth floor was lovely but small bed and very dark as main light was outside bathroom and no light beside bed was moved to room on fifth floor which was much brighter with more lights and bigger bed

Very good location, 10 minute walk from city centre. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the Health Club. Good size rooms.

I loved it, room was clean and warm, my sister did notice a musty smell in room but nothing to stop her sleeping in it, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was perfect, hot and tasty, highly recommended

Lovely hotel, great location”
Stayed here recently with a group of friends. Great location, lovely hotel and lovely staff. I marked 3 stars for facilities due to breakfast. We went down at 9:30am and everything had run out and it took ages for them to replace it. Had to ask twice for plates. On the plus side when the food was ready it was lovely!

Staff very helpful. Large room. Comfy bed. Quiet. Great pool, gym, sauna & steam room- very relaxing.

Facilities quite old”
The interior is quite old, make you feel it's not that clean. The lighting in the room is not that good, I feel only place bright is the toilet. The heater is not functioning properly, I have to call the reception to get some small heater to keep the room warm, luckily they are very helpful. Due to the location, it's quiet in the evening

Good hotel and not so far from the city centre”
The hotel is quite rundown but is in a decent location. Attentive staff and spacious room with basic amenities. Breakfast options were quite limited though.

This hotel was old, tired and in desperate need of upgrading. To be honest a carpet cleaner and lick of paint would be transforming. The bed was comfortable and slept well. The reception staff were unfriendly at check in but later was a different receptionist who was much more accommodating. I'd skip the hotel breakfast and head out for breakfast although the staff were lovely the food wasn't great and the coffee was weak. Didn't use the spa as didn't have time but the pool and jacuzzi looked great and there was also a beauty room would be worth the money for that alone.

Beautiful reception and bar area, didn't have any drinks so I'm not sure on prices but there was signs for offers at the restaurant. Staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms were clean but dated in comparison to the reception area. Breakfast was excellent value for money, fully stocked and staff were very efficient in clearing plates and restocking anything that was running low. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend to others.

The hotel room was lovely, it was unfortunate that the weather took toal on hotel reception and entrance was covered in buckets as water was coming in thro ceiling and seating area. A bit short staffed at bar for lunch and drinks . Management maybe need to review

It needs to update it's in room facilities. Lighting was needing. Modern appliances require more than was provided for. Great as an old style hotel.
