Probably the most affordable place to stay in Liverpool's city centre. There's a kitchen with refrigerator, microwave oven and stove. Laundry costs £5 per wash and drying.

Value for the money”
Nothing is really far from the hostel. The staff is friendly and helpful, the room is clean enough. The mattress should be replaced, but for 1 or 2 nights I guess it's still fine. The place is safe and comfortable, I recommend it.

Aussie guy running the pub crawl was awesome & very informative. Massive hostel with a good kitchen - although found it hard to get utensils.

Good for the basics”
Tidy hostel, with all the basics you need at a relatively good price. I had read bad reviews about the cleanliness, but I did not find this the case. I did hear someone else in my dorm complain that there was popcorn near their bed suggested it hadn’t been cleaned properly, but I didn’t encounter any issues. Good that dorm beds had sockets, a light and curtain, but the large locker at the end of the bed did get in the way a bit. The bar was closed when I was there in February since it was very quiet. Hence there wasn’t much atmosphere. Overall a good stay and I would return.

The location was excellent. The services were great. The staff were professional and helpful. I was given an upgrade too which was very nice of them. Prices were very cheap and my expectations were exceeded.

you get what you pay for”
payed £20 for the stay overnight during weekdays. In the morning I felt like I was worth £20 myself. You get what you pay for, a stay with a bunch a guys in the same room in the uncomfortable bunk bed. Great that I could have complimentary tea, coffee, cacao in the kitchen. Wont recommend if you need sleep in shared dorm.

free tea and coffee - thumbs up no tea spoons, table spoons and forks for almost a week - thumbs down no knives to prepare food with - thumbs down some mattresses were in poor shape - thumbs down nice clean bathrooms - thumbs up many plug sockets - thumbs up great location - thumbs up sad cat - thumbs down nice beer garden - thumbs up staff - some better than others - no names mentioned no oven - thumbs down overall - thumbs up

There was only a mobile heater in the room which was not enough. I felt cold most of the time especially at night.

Bouncer stole my bluetooth headphones ,grinder and glass roach ”
Bouncer on Friday night barged into my room on two occasions once at around 130 as I'm watching a video on my tablet and listening to it on my headphones, bouncer barges in using a key card saying I must turn the music down I didn't have any music on it was in my headphones he sees some smoking paraphernalia and grabs for it he grabs my herb grinder and glass roach and also scoops my headphones he makes for the door saying come to reception were going to evict you & call the police as I'm not smoking I goto reception whereby I have to argue my case with the bouncer and 1 of the staff as I don't want to be evicted in the early hours I accept a telling off don't know why as I was not in the wrong demand my things they say confiscated I retire to my room and try to sleep,A couple of hours later !The same said security bouncer has entered the room with a key card and starts russling around I shout what the hell are you doing its 4 oclock he scuffles off don't know if owt else was taken

Great location for Liverpool FC fan, near liverpool lime street station and near Hope street hotel which liverpool team staying befor match day
