Amazing for Parklife!”
We stayed for 2 nights during Parklife weekend and could not recommend this hotel more! The rooms and bathroom were all to a high standard. They provided transfers to the festival which was a lifesaver. All the staff were so friendly and supported the festival vibe! Thank you for such a great experience

Vastly Improved ”
I have stopped at Hendham House several times in the past and they have dramatically improved the place by refurbishment. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. I enjoyed my breakfast and the management very welcoming.

Bed bugs”
I remember seeing one little bug whilst staying. It was quite distinctive looking. A day after my stay I was covered in bites. On googling bed bugs the very bug I saw was the image that came up.

Shared toilets, drunk staff”
Never knew that they had shared toilets. Hot water in the toilet doesn't work, lights in the room didn't work. Beds are almost falling apart. Drunk staff behave aggressively, smell of alcohol fills the air as he speak. Could not sleep at night, hotel staff chatting loudly with local boys :-(. They stopped when I complaint at 3:00 in the morning. The staff apologied for his drunk aggressive behaviour. I don't hold any personal glitch against him. This review is to warn people about what they might encounter. I will not recommend it for family with children. The price is really good. To hotel management - please don't overwhelm your staff, they can become aggressive towards your customers.

FALSE ADVERTISING”
I booked this place as I used to live in Manchester so when I read it was on the norrhern quarter I didnt check the property address. I could not travel in the end so not use this hotel but when I checked on the map where it was located I was quite glad to have missed it as it’s not in the Northern Quarter but in a run down pretty horrible area called Harpurhey.

First impressions excellent very cosy room was greeted exceptionally well would put most places to shame Dale who I have spoke to very nice very professionally and very understanding what asset to this place courteous and always smiling excellent stay!! Originally planned one night stay ended up 3 nights stay amazing and look forward staying again if need arises thank you everyone and Dale thank you pleasurable stay

Worst hostel I’ve ever stayed”
Heater was not working in our room, only one hot fan which nearly broke was there for four of us. The bathroom was really dirty. There was a toilet paper everywhere in the bathroom. Also the water dropped from the ceiling. Would never recommend any friends to this place for sure.

Like I said you get what you paid for. So my review are neutral. Had to use my own shirt to cover the pillow as they all looked suspicious and I slept on top of the covers fully clothed . Need I say more.

Unclined and untidy place. The bathroom was awful and all the time we were there, the lights in it was'nt working. Had no toiletpaper as well. Was very cold all the time.

Horrible place”
I dont know if I will get any sleep here there's a big guy that is creepy and trys to get into my room. He puts a key in the door every morning and middle of the night and when I see him he stares at me like he wants to attack me. This place is not safe because no matter how loud I yell and tell him to stop coming in my room. He stills burst in this is a very scary experience.

Bed Bugs everywhere”
I suppose to stay here a week been trying to get my money back i stayed in room 4, 17 and was bit up the whole time there. There are huge bites the size of a coin on my body from top to bottom. The pictures will fool you because on the website it looks clean. There are bed bugs everywhere.

UNSAFE PLACE”
I was staying here because the hotel refused to give my money back. I was tortured by the whole staff and called the police several times. Everyday they pushed their way into my room it was some guys and girls that worked among the staff. The place is like a cult organization filled with very rude people. It was like the girls entertain the staff by looking while the men rape the women. Please I urge you all to be careful here especially solo travelers. They will force their way into your room and rape you.

Horrible experience ever!”
I stayed in this hotel for a week. I was stalked by the guy that called himself security he kept trying to sneak in my room on different occasions and threatened to kick me out if I told him I would not let him in. Please any females be careful at this place it's a very terrible place and staff. Never leave your door open because I have to put a chair behind my door to keep the big man out.

Very bad customer service, terrible facilities! WiFi costs £5, no mattress was in the bed and was told I had to help them bring the mattress up to the top floor (where by room was), by stairs. Wouldn’t wish for anyone to stay here ever.

One of the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed in my whole life . The place stinks like animal shit ,”
I wouldn’t recommend this place to my dog to stay forget about recommending it to my friends .. went to get the drink from reception the fridge wasn’t even working and trying to charge me £2 for hot bottle of water (0.33cl) . The smell in the hotel Is really bad and damp everywhere.and also the areas full of junkies don’t waste your money
