We’ve stayed in this Hilton a few times now and we usually choose Hilton when travelling because there’s good value for money, friendly staff and good food too. Can’t ask for more

A really great hotel ”
Spent 2 nights in Birmingham for a conference. I received a very warm welcome at check in, which was efficient and easy. Comfortable bed, a hot shower, a delicious breakfast and close to everything I needed around Brindley Place.

Overnight stay”
Pros: Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Reception was clean and tidy, room was clean and tidy , comfortable bed. Cons : bad smell on the 7th floor like drains etc. Was given a disabled room which we were told we had booked (we didnt and couldn't change as the hotel was fully booked). To open the fridge door you had to lift the fridge up as there was a wooden lip on the front of the cabinet stopping the door from opening.

The Staff”
I just want to state how incredible the staff were to ourselves and the point that after I’d had a few too many drinks and left my phone in the toilet of said bathroom it was returned to me at my hotel door. They rang the hotel room first but this is just so incredible as so many people would take off with a bit of found tech so huge huge pat on the back. Everything is lovely about this hotel but this was just outstanding

Great hotel and lovely location, could have been a bit cleaner. There were numerous hairs across the bathroom and the dressing table. But the staff were lovely and the location is mint to get out and about around Birmingham.

Nice hotel overall but….”
disappointed that there were stains on the carpet, walls and on the curtains, not just in 1 room but in another room, as we asked to be moved to a different room because there was a sticky mark on the bedsheet. you would expect that in a lower star hotel but not a 4 star. Great location near broad street and helpful staff. I would stay again but wouldn’t like to pay there expensive prices. I would say the jury’s inn is practically the same as the hilton but cheaper.

Wel located, and with no complains. But the feel is more Ibis or alike, than Hilton. Rooms are small and very sober. Breakfast is fine, but no winner as well.

Lovely hotel when checking in the receptionist was great, when we booked agoda had the option of smoking or no smoking rooms for the hotel so I asked obviously to be abruptly told no it's no smoking if your found smoking your getting a £500 fine then being hung up on which is fine we went outside anyway it was just a basic question I was only querying the booking I made, iv worked in hotels before and most have had smoking rooms on bottom floors so it can't be an unheard of question! also the house keeping staff were pretty ignorant, I asked for extra coffee as 2 sachets wernt enough for the room to be ignored, I even stripped my room ready to help them out when they went in not even a thanks they just looked at me, for the price I'd say more suited to business clients rather than family's, you get a lot more for your money at cheaper hotels, breakfast not included barely any extras in the rooms I. E 2 coffees no water in the rooms

Comfortable and well located ”
The hotel is clean, bed is comfortable and day staff are helpful. It’s located a short walk away from Broad Street, the Arena Birmingham and Brindleyplace, so events, eating, drinking and partying are all covered. My only request would be for the late night staff (midnight onwards) to be more courteous to returning guests. I know some guests can be boisterous after a few drinks, but having a polite, firm but fair approach would receive a better response from them and make your life easier rather than being rude. I didn’t even drink and was completely respectful to the staff, but felt I was treated as an inconvenience. Despite this, I had a great stay, slept well and would definitely stay again.
