1 Night stay”

I booked a room for 1 night stay for myself a nd 2 sisters, ages 75, 70 and 68; nothing wrong with the room other than the put me up bed which 1 sister slept on and said it was very uncomfortable, ok for children but not an older person. Good place when using Bristol Airport to stay, 15 mns round the corner.

Holiday Inn Bristol Airport”

The staff, especially Maria, were very helpful. The hotel is in a very convenient position for Bristol Airport. I think it is rather expensive, but I guess that is because its near an airport. The bed was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was adequate.

Disappointing ”

It is 5 miles away from the airport, noisy corridors at night as guests are leaving from 4am to catch flights and reception charged me twice for my room.

A lovely friendly venue”

Room was lovely. Staff friendly. Breakfast fine. So on a standard day great. BUT on arrival there was no heating or hot water so entry to our room was delayed by some time and we were just asked to sit in reception area with others.. We were visiting for a special event so this really affected our ability to get ready properly. But staff were at all times really helpful and friendly .

Yet Another Airport Hotel”

I recently booked this HI and overall I have to say was happy with the stay. Check-in and out was courteous and quick. The room as well as the communal space was well maintained and appeared nice and friendly. I really liked the small bar and the lounge. I have only very minor complaints, e.g., I couldn't open the window (facing the busy road). There were spots on the bed linen and there was a little water in the electric cettle that was obviously a leftover from a previous guest. Though an aiport hotel, it is still about 10 minutes drive away from the terminal. They offer a shuttle bus service but you have to book it one day before to pick you up from the aiport or get you to the terminal. It cost 3.50 £ (one way) while a taxi costs around 8 £. In general, the location is somewhere in the middle of nowhere. There aren't any shops or restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. There seem to be some airline crews staying at the hotel as well as guests getting in and out of the aiport either very late at night or very early in the morning. There's a large parking lot for guests using the hotel as a base for traveling around Somerset. I didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked resonably nice there. The fotos on the Web reflect the reality pretty well. What you see is what you get so to speak. The positive things outbalance the negative ones. Therefore I can recommend the hotel.

This hotel has good room and facilities. And approaching to airport is very convenient due to airport shuttle provided by hotel. However because of no public transportation to center of city I had to use expensive taxi.
