Stayed here with my husband , whilst my daughter and her friend attended Transmt, excellent location for this and for us to go into the city centre restaurant for the day /evening . Rooms very clean and check out was 12 was ideal for us . Reception staff very helpful and friendly . Let my daughters other friends come in to order a taxi . Breakfast was very good and great selection . Food ordered at night for girls from the bar which was ok ,bit expensive at £12 for a pizza Nachos though were rubbish at £5 , they were cheap tortillas on a plate with microwaved cheese which was overdone and it went brick hard and inedible , there’s a knack to microwave nachos and they haven’t nailed it here. They also ordered food the next day which wasn’t that great . All in all very good hotel with a slight blip on the food front .

Very comfortable stay, and our dog loved all the attention from both the staff and the other guests. We would definitely stay there on any future visits o Glasgow!

Comfortable room ideal for our needs, clean and tidy. Ideal location for main streets for shopping etc, nice breakfast lovely staff, good value for money. We will certainly use this hotel again

Does what it says on the tin...”

The hotel building is showing it's age somewhat, but it is conveniently located for The Merchant City, so suited our needs. Cleanliness is very good and staff very helpful and friendly, both at reception and in the dining room. Rooms are basic but clean, with standard equipment, although as already mentioned, a bit shabby in places, same applies to shower room, rather well worn, but clean and perfectly adequate. The inclusive breakfast was very good, both in choice and quality, with the staff prepared to go the extra mile to satisfy guests requests.

Warm welcome. Excellent staff. We left our bags & called back later for them. Unfortunate we had to get reception staff to gain access to toilet. They did it willingly. Definitely will be my choice for Glasgow visits

Excellent stay experience”

Very clean rooms, extremely helpful staff and all basic facilities required for a sole traveller. Situated super close to the city center and offices in Glasgow, right opposite the walkway adjoining the river Clyde. If you’re an IHG member, you get some really good options with points too! Totally worth it all. Will surely recommend this hotel to fellow travellers.

Our stay was excellent. This location was clean, with helpful staff and breakfast buffet included in the room rate. The location was convenient to city center. The rooms are slightly small by US standards, but were clean and had everything necessary. An excellent value for money!

Just OK”

Glasgow is a really fantastic city to visit, and therefore there were lots of guests at this hotel during my stay. The room itself is ok, standard Holiday Inn package. However, the nightmare is on the breakfast time. Too many people, not enough tables, dirty tables, drinks machine out of powder, no glasses/cups to use, chaotic order... just plain horrible. Another painful experience was that it has no car park, and that I have to park at a pay-and-display parking around 5 mins' walk away. Hotel asked me for 5 pounds and offer me a 5pm-10am overnight parking voucher, which I still think it's a rip off. The staff were friendly though.
