Good value for money ”

It was a grab ride away from the airport (£7) or £3 per person for airport shuttle with food frequency. Good b’fast included and plenty of dinner options which is served until 10. Very lovely staff and kid friendly. But No air conditioning and if u open the window very noisy. Our entire family couldn’t sleep as it was warm for us. Apart from that everything for the money you pay

despite it saying clearly on my confirmation sheet that I had booked a family room the hotel claimed that they were not informed by Agoda that it was 2 adults 2 kids that would be arriving. eventually sorted that out to then find out I would be charged £10 per night for parking, This was not stated anywhere on the website that parking would be charged. kettle inside the room was covered in dust, had to wash it before I could use it. the breakfast was not too bad but all in all wish i'd booked a different hotel.

The hotel was busy but the staff made time for us.There was a problem with the toilet seat and one of the female staff fixed it rather than move rooms.Good and efficient restaurant served with a smile.

excellent value for money. Pleased with price for the room so was amazed to find out that breakfast was included in the price. Breakfast was available from 4am which as we were leaving at 4.45 we were very happy with. Though the hotel was busy it was still quiet during the night. Took 10mins to get to Terminal 1.

Short but good stay ”

Short but very good stay at the Holiday Inn Express. It was a little further from the airport than I expected but the hotel was very comfortable and clean, and despite a very early start they had a good continental breakfast spread in the morning. Plus the staff were friendly and helpful!

Fab stay!!”

We arrived late at night and we went straight to our room which was very comfortable and we slept very well. The room was nice and quiet and the staff at breakfast couldn't do enough to make sure that everywhere was clean/tidy and that there was hot food available all the time. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Cosy room”

Overall good hotel. Good breakfast that offers an earlier light option at 5 am which is useful. Not really within walking distance from airport but does offer a shuttle bus service for about £3 each that you can organise at the front desk. Good little lounge area at reception too. I would definitely stay there again.

Large and quiet room”

While located further from the airport than expected, Holiday Inn Express was a great place for a stopover. I had prebooked our one night stay months before and asked if there would be Gluten free breakfast options. I had forgotten this by the time we arrived, of course, so was very happy to be informed that there would be cereal and bread available for me at breakfast. The check in staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful as were the dining room staff next morning. The room was well heated and very quiet thanks to double glazing. It was quite large which enabled us to have two suitcases open with our belongings spread out yet room to walk around with ease. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good big room with large walk-in shower. Excellent breakfast (except for coffee). Thought £10 parking charge excessive but it is an airport hotel.

Holiday Inn”

The hotel is fine but connections to the airport are not good. The shuttle only runs at certain times of the day and it is not gratis.

Airport Hotel”

We had booked the airport hotel for our last night, remembering our experience in London with getting from a downtown hotel to the airport to catch our flight. But as it turned out, it would have been very easy to stay downtown Manchester and catch a train to the airport in the morning. But it was OK. You can catch an airport shuttle for 3 pounds per person or a taxi for 6 pounds to and from the airport. Or you can walk. We decided to walk since we were going to be on a plane for 7.5 hours. There is a footpath all the way and it takes about 20 minutes. We ended up being allocated an accessible room, which was not ideal as the shower is open and you don't get your pull out couch. But it was very comfortable and clean. That is all that really matters when you are there for one night and plan to catch a plane the next day. The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home
