Good but not good enough”

Pro: Strategic location in city makes it close to Restaurants and public transport (especially Buchanan Bus station); Friendly Staff at reception who operates 24/7 and catered to all requests; Huge selection of TV channels; Very comfortable bed Cons: Terrible Housekeeping (bed sheets not changed even though visibly dirty, floors aren't vacuumed, forgot to fill toilet paper and took very long to replace from reception, inadequate toiletries); Lack of room Privacy which created insecurity (staff accessed room while we were away without notifying); The lift needs desperate upgrading (overly compact and dips a little every time someone gets on). All in all, it's a great hotel that I would definitely consider staying again, with the hope that my privacy and housekeeping would improve the next time I am there.

Although the hotel wa central for our needs and the staff courteous and friendly we found at breakfast not very organised. Ran out of certain items and buffet not replenished until brought to their attention.

The room and bathroom were very small, ventilation was not good in the both room so room felt damp for a while after showering. Room was also quite cold, tried to put the air conditioner to highest temp but was still cold also the air conditioner was on a timer I guess as switched off after a period. Apparet from that the hotel is clean and in a great location for shopping or going to the Theater.

I can live in this hotel forever. I highly recommend Holiday Inn, it's near the bus station, Buchanan Galleries and there are a bunch of convenient stores in the area. They have good breakfast food that includes haggis.

Perfect location and pleasant stay”

It was my first stay at the hotel which is located in the city centre. I paid another 20pounds per night to upgrade my room to executive suite. The room was tastefully furnished with clean lines and its bathroom equipped with good shower and fragrant toiletries. There was also compliment coffee/tea making facilities in the room. The buffet breakfast at the restaurant was excellent with wide range of selections. On the whole, the staff at the reception counter and the restaurant were friendly, pleasant and helpful. It would be nice if the wifi at the hotel is free of charge instead of limiting it to only an hour. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Glasgow.

Good Location”

the hotel is opposite the royal concert hall and there is car parking nearby at a discount. it is also close to the buchanan street galleries, a large shopping centre. la bonne auberge restaurant is attached to the hotel and we had a very good pre-theatre supper. there is no shortage of eating places close to the hotel. there was some noise in the early morning as at present there is roadworks outside the hotel.

Holiday Inn Theatreland Hotel”

Communications is good, bus to some museums and galleries. But overall Glasgow is not an easy city to explore. The hotel is adjacent to a nice restaurant on the ground floor. Staff are helpful, but can be more friendly.

Das Hotel liegt gut, ist jedoch etwas in Jahre gekommen. Es versprüht den Charme der 70er und wurde wahrscheinlich auch dann das letzte mal renoviert. Die Mitarbeiter sind nett und bemühen sich mehr als viele ihrer Berufsgenossen in England
