Nice and cheap place to stay ”

6 police officers outside my room at 6am”

Booked for 2 nights. 1st night ok. 2nd night went to sleep approx 11pm. Was woken up by people in adjacent room shouting and laughing, walls are paper thin, they calmed down about 1am and I fell asleep again. Woke up sharply 5.30am. Went outside to use bathroom and there is a big policeman outside my door. I say "Morning officer" use the bathroom and go back to bed puzzled. Noise outside room gets louder. I go outside and now there are 4 police officers. They all say sorry sir to me and I say no problem. I ask one officer: "what is this place, I booked it on Agoda?" Officer replies: " Well you have 4 police outside your room at 6am, I will let you draw your own conclusions." I go to reception, big fresh faced guy sitting there. I suggest he offers a refund for this second night. He replies: "cant give redunds" me: "can I speak to your boss?" Him: "He's not in the country" He would not even make eye contact with me. I went back to my room packed and left immediately. Avoid this place like the plague.

Noisy hotel next to busy road - take ear plugs”

The hotel is furnished nicely and the rooms are well made. Shower also was okay. Maybe we was unlucky that we got a room next to the road with busy traffic all night. We stayed for 4 nights, the first night a hen party must have been staying there as at 02.30am we woken up to a rendition of ymca!!!!! That lasted until 5am by which time the rush hour traffic was starting to buikd up. I notified the staff the following morning but they also seemed like they had just come from an all night party to the reception desk and didnt seem capable of taking much in. However nights 2,3 and 4 did improve with only the traffic to contend with. Location wise you need a car to stay there but i guess if you are lucky enough to get a room that is well sound proofed or away from the road then it may be suitable. We didnt try the breakfast so i can not give you a report on that.
